BEST BAND EVER: Results!

Voted for Tipton and Petrucci. I don't really get why Lifeson is so far ahead, while I do appreciate Rush, I always thought he was the least special of the 3 members. Also, sorry CriedWhenBrucieLeft, but Buckethead's gone as far as he could :P I would've voted for him over the other two though, but can't over Petrucci.

Actually what's interesting, imo, in Lifeson's playing is the way he has evolved as a guitar player from a very blues-rock oriented way in the early days to a more textured playing in the 80's. His very specific way of using arpeggios is also kinda unique and this is what I like about him, he is not a flashy player but more one of those that just tries to incorporate what's necessary to make a song great.

Of course, when you have Geddy Lee and Neil Peart as partners, it's difficult to be the most special member but I still think that no one could have ever replaced him and even if he's very discreet in his playing, he deserves to be more...in the limelight!
