Actually what's interesting, imo, in Lifeson's playing is the way he has evolved as a guitar player from a very blues-rock oriented way in the early days to a more textured playing in the 80's. His very specific way of using arpeggios is also kinda unique and this is what I like about him, he is not a flashy player but more one of those that just tries to incorporate what's necessary to make a song great.Voted for Tipton and Petrucci. I don't really get why Lifeson is so far ahead, while I do appreciate Rush, I always thought he was the least special of the 3 members. Also, sorry CriedWhenBrucieLeft, but Buckethead's gone as far as he could I would've voted for him over the other two though, but can't over Petrucci.
