England have been the champions of unfair play tonight. Still, it took them 120' plus the penalty shootouts plus the referee obviously on their side to beat Colombia. Disappointing.

Ehhhhhhhhh. England played a very fair, strong game for the first 45, and then they gave back some of what Colombia was giving them. Sorry, I don't believe the ref was on their side - Colombia only chose to play football around the 70th minute.

If the ref was on Englands side then he would have sent off 2 or 3 of the Colombian players during the 90 because they certainly gave him reason to.

With England in the tournament for some more days, let's just hope the Russian police keep control on their hooligans, because more English will arrive and those who are already there will become more drunk and more cheeky

There will be some added tension to that match politically because of the Skripals' poisoning and the resulting sanctions imposed on Russia.
Hopefully Croatia do for Russia and England though. Whoever gets to the final from the bottom half of the draw will be definite underdogs, unless they somehow end up playing Uruguay. I can't see Uruguay sneaking their way past France and then Brazil or Belgium, but with Germany out at the group stage, Spain losing to Russia and fucking England winning a penalty shoot out then fucking anything can happen in this tournament.
