2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia (Maidenfans WC Pool inside)

I really think Mexico is one of the strongest teams. Germany is still a title candidat. I don't think they'll get this opposition soon.

According to the tale of the tape, Germany had greater possession, passes, and pass completion; more corner attempts and less fouls and cards.

Germany was lethargic, Mexico were very dynamic. Well deserved win.

Germans will probably pick it back up, but winner's fatigue is a real thing.

Let's not forget that Germany weren't exactly convincing last Euro Cup either, or actually any international match lately. So the winner's fatigue has been going on for quite a while now.

If Low wants anything to happen, he needs to drop Ozil and get Kroos in the playmaking role.

Muller is also shit.

Victory/Loss stats for Germany always sound so weird for me.

Before tonight, Germany had only lost once from Mexico!

Hoping for a draw in Brazil-Switzerland game, if not, hope Brazil trashes them 6-0 so that they have worse goal-difference than us.

Switzerland starting 11:

4 actually Swiss players: Sommer, Schar, Lichsteiner and Zuber.

:D
Akanji was born in Wiesendangen, Seferovic in Sursee, Xhaka in Basel and Rodriguez in Zurich. Most of the others came as young children to Switzerland during the 1990s as refugees. Sounds pretty Swiss to me.

Yes, but still doesn't sound very Swiss when you read out the names...
