Dude, nice setlist!

I love that maiden change the set for each tour (unlike AC/DC) & alternate from old to new material each tour...BUT they haven't played a set with at least 1 song from each lp since the fotd tour back in 92!

Yes but since the x factor tour they have skipped lps in their setlist. Especially since bruce & adrian rejoined; mainly due to to every other tour having a theme. They are overdue for a set that does not skip an lp. Like priest did on their last tour. (but obviously I don't want maiden to have a farewell tour!)

Of course they did...rob won't sing that material just like bruce has not for 10 years sung any blaze songs just like ian gillan won't sing david coverdale material in deep purple.

OK, so this is my dream (and absolutely unrealistic, what with all those never played live tunes) playlist. Slightly longer than usual, but still manageable within 2:30 or 2:45.

The "slashes" would be alternations - either surprises or there could be a possibility to vote for the ticket owners.

From Maiden to Frontier: The Vaults of Iron (or some other title, this one is rather stupid)

1. Wicker Man (Brave New World)
2. Ghost of the Navigator (Brave New World)
3. Deja-Vu (Somewhere in Time)
4. Powerslave (Powerslave)
5. Infinite Dreams (Seventh Son of a Seventh Son)
6. Sea of Madness (Somewhere in Time)
7. Where the Wild Wind Blows (The Final Frontier)
8. Judas Be My Guide (Fear of the Dark)
9. Brighter Than a Thousand Suns (A Matter of Life and Death)
10. Afraid to Shoot Strangers (Fear of the Dark)
11. Starblind / The Man Who Would Be King (The Final Frontier)
12. Rainmaker (Dance of Death) / The Fallen Angel (Brave New World)
13. Phantom of the Opera (Iron Maiden) / Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (Seventh Son of a Seventh Son)
14. 2 A.M. (The X Factor)
15. The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner / Caught Somewhere in Time (Somewhere in Time)
16. Sign of the Cross (The X Factor)
17. Out of the Silent Planet (Brave New World)
18. No More Lies (Dance of Death)
19. Revelations / Where Eagles Dare (Piece of Mind)
20. To Tame a Land (Piece of Mind)
21. Iron Maiden (Iron Maiden)

ENCORE
22. Aces High (Powerslave)
23. Stranger in a Strange Land (Somewhere in Time)
24. Run to the Hills (Number of the Beast)

Pretty much every album is represented somehow, except Killers, Virtual XI and No Prayer - not that I didn't like those but none of the cuts is simply that great. I've also tried to keep some flow and logic to it, however I don't know whether I've succeeded.

Having seen this, I might actually die on the spot. :D

Here is a new setlist I made! I don't have a name for it but here you go anyway!
Hope you like it!
The Untitled Tour

1: The Ides Of March
2: Stranger In A Strange Land
3: The Trooper
4: 2 Minutes To Midnight
5: Wrathchild
6: Sign Of The Cross
7: The Number Of The Beast
8: Phantom Of The Opera
9: Run To The Hills
10: Dance Of Death Medley (Dance Of Death-Gengis Khan-Heaven Can Wait-Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son)
11: Wasted Years
12: Powerslave
13: The Evil That Men Do
14: Caught Somewhere In Time
15: Hallowed Be Thy Name
16: Fear Of The Dark
17: Iron Maiden

In what way is that a Dance of Death medley if it only includes one track from the album o_O
Okay, let me explain the medley.
The medley starts with Dance Of Death which skips the outro and goes straight into the final section of Genghis Khan. Which then leads into the "whoa oh oh" section of Heaven Can Wait and after that it goes into the last three minutes of Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son (the title track).
Does that answer your question?

Number of the Beast
Only the Good Die Young
The Trooper
Aces High
Children of the Damned
Age of Innocence
Brave New World
Alexander the Great
Running Free
El Dorado
Two Minutes to Midnight
Afraid to Shoot Strangers
Caught Somewhere in Time
The Evil That Men Do

The things you think of when bored at work.
