Okay, I'm not sure if this thread already exists but please tell me if that is so.
So, here, you can create your dream Iron Maiden setlist. It can a 80's setlist or whatever.
Just create the setlist that you always wanted.
My setlist is called "The Hidden Treasures". This is my dream setlist. It is about the underrated Iron Maiden songs. But there's also some more famous tracks on it as well. Well, here's my setlist!

1: Judas Be My Guide (Fear Of The Dark)
2: Holy Smoke (No Prayer For The Dying)
3: The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner (Somewhere In Time)
4: Face In The Sand (Dance Of Death)
5: The Nomad (Brave New World)
6: Losfer Words (Big 'Orra) (Powerslave)
    7: Purgatory (Killers)
8: Back In The Village (Powerslave)
9: The Alchemist (The Final Frontier)
10: Childhood's End (Fear Of The Dark)
11: Run Silent, Run Deep (No Prayer For The Dying)
12: Alexander The Great (356-323 BC) (Somewhere In Time)
    13: Iron Maiden (Iron Maiden)
14: The Prophecy (Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son)
15: Sun And Steel (Piece Of Mind)
16: Hallowed Be Thy Name (The Number Of The Beast)
17: Only The Good Die Young (Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son)

As you can see, I included some classic ones like Holy Smoke and Hallowed Be Thy Name. And of course their self-titled song. It's been included in every Iron Maiden setlist so why change that? Well, that's it for me, now it's your turn! I will comment on your setlist and tell you my opinion on the setlist. Well, have fun creating setlists and talking about them.

    No idea earthier Cried.

Anyway, I'd probably call mine 'The History Tour' and play songs from every album. Each show will alternate by constantly chopping songs with others. Also, this will be Iron Maiden's on Social Media based tour, where fans who are going to a certain concert can suggest songs to be played on the upcoming date, which utilises the use of a digital setlist, which begins an hour after one show, and locks an hour before another show, with other fans removing songs from the band's setlist. The set lists will only be 20 songs in length

    1) The Phantom Of the Opera (Iron Maiden)
    2) Killers
    3) The Prisoner (NOTB)
    4) Flight of Icarus (POM)
    5) The Trooper (POM)
    6) The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Powerslave)
    7) Alexander the Great (SIT)
9 Bring Your a Daughter (NPFTD)
    10) Be Quick or be dead (FOTD)

What happens if the crowd suggest a song Maiden can't remember how to play?

  6. Patrick Watts

I'm sure a band would probably remember their tracks, or least rehearse them regularly
  7. CriedWhenBrucieLeft

    CriedWhenBrucieLeft Version 4.1

But they'd have to rehearse every single song they've ever written; some of which Janick or H, for example, might never have played...

I highly doubt that. Especially when they were written and recorded over thirty years.
  9. Patrick Watts

Not if there's a specific list of songs. If Maiden make a number of set lists before the tour, then the band can learn them and rehearse before the tour gets going. This way, they can learn the songs they haven't played, while refreshing themselves with better known ones......if that makes sense?

Nope, don't care how overplayed it is. I love that song and it's incredible live.

True, it's the one song everyone knows but still rules amazingly. A song with a great complete structure, imo.
