I prefer Dance of Death, but Paschendale is still quite beastly.
I think all of the reunion albums are better than anything they've done in the 80's.
Holy hell, nothing can beat that! Good to see such love for the nineties material.I like No Prayer and Virtual XI better than Powerslave and SSoaSS (albums).
*Raises hand* A difference of five spots in my top 50:Anyone else like Dance of Death over Paschendale?
25. Dance of Death
30. Paschendale
Anyone else like Dance of Death over Paschendale?
Face in the Sand > Paschendale > DoD
And I look at the songs as a whole. Did you also edit some bits off Face in the Sand? Then your opinion is not valid.
edit:
And do you have an edited version of the Dance of Death album? If yes, then your rating doesn't count either.
It's the musical version of "get rid of a headache by stubbing your toe, you'll forget all about your head".
...and you'll soon forget the wound on your toe when The Journeyman starts. It's a song in desperate need of a guitar solo.
So it can be like every other Maiden song? No, Journeyman is a nice breath of fresh air just like it is.
