It won't be a calm night in the old city of Marseille. And already riots in the stadium as we speak (I heard, it wasn't shown).

The French police are on high alert for terrorism, it seems they forgot about hooligans. The Russian fans are like the English were in the 80s, and some English fans still are like that when they go abroad.

That charge inside the stadum is exactly what I meant. English hooligans did that a lot back in the 70s/80s. A guy named Harris wrote a song about it, methinks.

Maybe someone will die ... let's hope not.

Sickener for England. Who would of thought that having your all time top goalscorer playing defensive midfield and one of your tallest players hitting corners could result in a lack of goals....

I really didn't get having Kane take the corners either. Just get Rooney to do it, I'm sure he'd be fine.

I saw 2 games yesterday (SWI-ALB and WAL-SLO) and only team that impressed me was Slovakia. Switzerland was a disgrace, having a player more for almost one hour and ended the game with 1:0. Same as France, if they continue like this no semi-finals for them. Slovakia really pushed and that deserves my respect, Wales was good but their defence was like a dodgeball team going in all directions. Didn't watched ENG-RUS but I predicted it's going to end 1-1 and I was correct. As far as England and Russia "supporters" go, - it already started on thursday, so I wasn't surprised something happened in stadium.

As far as today goes, these are my predictions:
Turkey VS Croatia - 0:1
Poland VS Nor. Ireland - 2:1
Germany - Ukraine - 3:0

What is surprising is the lack of guards to separate the two sets of fans from each other inside the stadium, considering the circumstances ...

Sorry guys, can't resist:

Too bad England... better stick with your EU buddies if you want to beat Russia...(?)

For all the rep we get for being savage douchebags, surely that seems extraordinary, eh?

Hoping for a good result today. Croatia looks stronger on paper but you never know with Turkey.

Well, you have your share, but so do most countries in Europe. There's no doubt that when it comes to organized hooliganism, Russia and Poland currently have the biggest problems.

I'm gonna miss the game unfortunately, should be interesting - but today I'll only be able to watch the late game (GER-UKR).
