I'd like to know if his timing was as odd as this one. After the Czech press left, going "oh well, yeah by the way, I'm done after this tournament."
I'm sure Nedved had more respect for his country.

edit:
Don't forget: he has said earlier that he did want to go to the Olympics.
Suddenly changing this is a big fuck you to his nation.

edit 2:
It is great news for us since the Netherlands do not have to face the man in the World Cup qualifiers.

He also made a big move to Man Utd instead of moving to MLS like he was contemplating when he said so, thus making his club career a bigger priority.

Whatever. It's not like there needs to be an actual new problem there for you to hate on Zlatan.

It's not like there needs to be an actual new problem there for you to pick on my personal ideas about Zlatan.

Do you want to call a moderator and ask him to let me stop criticizing Zlatan?

LOL what's the point of posting anything on a discussion board if you're gonna be mad that people "pick on your ideas"?

Meanwhile Turkish fans chant "Ya Allah, Bismillah, Allahuekber" and doing a pretty good job ruining my willingness to support the team.

The Swedish team needs a complete rebuild anyway, might as well do it without Zlatan at this point.

A crucial goalscoring opportunity for Turkey (2v1, through on goal) was cut short by a wrong offside call, but the ref awarded a foul for the previous possession. From the freekick we scored a goal that should've been offside. :D

And in SPA-CRO we saw Spain be awarded a very soft penalty, which was saved. The goalkeeper was 3m off his line and 4 defenders were inside the box. Penalty not retaken :D

It actually wasn't a penalty, that's an offense foul. Our defender, his right hand player pushes him, hand on the back, Vrsaljko tries everything not to fall on the left hand player. A mere touch, bust to back, and there goes the Spanish dive.
Actually, the right hand Spain player had a perfect opportunity to volley the ball in, yet he used his position to push on Vrsaljko.

In any case, if you think contact is intentional, there was bigger contact, towards legs, in Spain's box by three players. That contact shouldn't be enough for a referee holding tougher criteria, so he shouldn't give pentalty to Spain either.

Great game, very good 3 goals and it was hanging even right until the end. Even if Spain had a very early lead, Cro side never started leaking seriously, no bus parking and we also didn't have any major problems entering Spain's box once every few minutes.
Actually, both us and Spain would be better off if they remained 1st in group. Now it looks like we are heading for England and they for Italy. Spain would appreciate England more and we would Italy, past experiences taken into account.

Yes, by any means but by a small margin nevertheless. The biggest win outside of the victory itself, is having a very balanced statistics against an opponent that had 2/3 of possession.
And Cro went out with quite a number of substitutes against prime 11 Spaniards. That's why I'm not convinced Spain is that tough of a nut to crack (consider them against Czechs also). It looks like you need quick, direct (like English type) strikers, discipline in defense, and 2 midfield guys on 75% Iniesta level that can take possession, do a dribbling and actually win extra forward space.

Top 5 favourites at the moment (http://sports.williamhill.com/bet/en-gb/betting/e/3171064/Euro-2016.html) - 1. France + Spain, 2. Germany, 3. Belgium + Croatia. If Spain continues to display slightly uninspired performance France, Germany and Belgium will also take advantage of it IMHO
