Not only did he miss a penalty, he also scored a goal and celebrated only for that goal to be disallowed due to an offside. :D Epic troll right there.

Ronaldo didn't score a single freekick for Portugal, missed all 36.

EDIT: At European Championships, that is.

If Ronaldo keeps taking the freekicks at Real instead of Bale after this tournament, it's a giant skid mark on his personality as a footballer.

The phase starting tonight is often the most exciting part of the tournament, in my opinion. Last round of group matches is where each match can hold a lot of drama not only for the involved teams, but for several others. With the current format, each game can even have consequences outside of the group, which means many teams will be watching anxiously.

Romania will need a win to get to 4 points and get through as one of the four best 3rd placed teams. Switzerland and France will both be through with a draw, so that's a very likely result there, meaning Romania have very small chances of snubbing the Swiss of 2nd.

If Albania win, they still have a chance, but with several no 3s already on 2 or 3 points, it will most likely not be enough. But maybe ...

Football fans all over Europe, let the calculations commence!

Who gives the penalties? Not this coward of a referee.

Suppose you're referring to the last situation of the match?

To be fair, I think the ref didn't have the best angle to give it. Live I thought the Swiss player went down easily. The shirt pull was clearer on the replay. I'll give the ref benefit of the doubt before joining you in calling him a coward.

He had a clear view I thought. He just didn't dare to give the host of the tournament a penalty in such a late stage.

England has 6 changes in the team. Is that a risk? The Slovaks aren't the easiest opponents in this group.
