And this one is apparently going to join the original Trooper beer as a product line mainstay whereas 666, Red and Black, and Hallowed are no longer in production. Interesting. A 4% simple beer makes a lot of sense for the market, which is swinging back towards the "something you can drink all day" mentality. Hope it's good.
None of the Iron Maiden members are directly involved in the design or production of the beer, the computer game or the comic book. Their part in marketing those is only minimal. So new material is in no way delayed by the launch of any of those products.
Indeed. From the look of Bruce's videos, the process is essentially/allegedly:
1. Phone or email from Robinsons or from Bruce: "Hey, about a new beer and here's why."
2. Robinsons and Bruce decide on a style of beer for whatever particular reason, also probably via a quick chat on the phone or email.
3. Robinsons does a bunch of work creating different flavor profiles for that beer.
4. Bruce shows up for one day, tastes them all, says, "This one's good, I like this."
5. Iron Maiden has a new beer!
