That means Maiden has to send the store cd's so that the store can mail it to the costumer by Friday. Assuming it takes a day from when it arrives to the retailer to when they mail it to the customer and assume it takes 2-3 days for it to make it from the retailer to the customer. That means the retailer would have to get it monday.

And that is why people are waiting for the album to leak today. Someone in retail may sneak a copy home, and leak the CD.

A friend of mine who has a connection with the Croatian distributor for EMI asked a few minutes ago if he could get the album a few days early. The response was "no way, EMI has sent a worldwide memo to all distributors that the new album must not get out of storage until next monday". So, Monday the 16th is apparently the first day. The following should be treated as a rumour: the distributor also told him that apparently some major shit happened, that the band planned to release a third song, but because of that they changed their mind.

Man this place went apeshit crazy over the weekend.

I'm still not listening to leaks, so I have 8 days to go.

And for those of you in the US, if you buy The Final Frontier at FYE you get a free poster.  Just a heads up.

Hey guys.

After reading through about ten pages of the old thread and then this one, I'm whacked.

On the other hand, this stuff is classic  :lol:
Everyone going mental, I love it.

The plan to pull a heist on Best Buy to get the album is definitely one for the books  :bigsmile:

As for me, I'm very much on the sidelines in this no-leak madness. Don't plan on listening to it if it leaks, and have so far held off on the samples (except for The Talisman... which was awesome!). I'm popping down to the music store during the week to confirm the in-store release date. I'm praying for Friday but feeling it may be Monday.

Good luck getting that torrent, everyone!
