The Official Book of Souls Tour 2016 Thread (Warning: Spoilers within!)

Do you guys know if ALL the dates for the book of souls tour are announced?

And, if so, why the hell will the band not come to Portugal? I mean, they always had a huge following here, not to mention TBOS hit #1 over here... :confused:
 
I understand why you are puzzled, but I don't think you should worry too early: end of june-whole july are just free and, unless they want to make a pause within the tour, there is still plenty of time to arrange gigs in Lusitania. I don't see Harry avoiding what is like is second homeland :D.

Exactly, Portugal is pretty connected to Maiden. Of course Maiden should perform in every possible country in the world, but come on.... PORTUGAL, DAMN IT! :edmetal:
 
They've got the whole of July to fill yet, and promised a very extensive tour of Europe. I'm pretty sure that'll include Portugal. Got any festivals in July? ;)

Well, lots of 'em! Portugal is sometimes dubbed as "a terra dos festivais", something like "the land of festivals" for a reason :p

Yeah, i guess i kind of overreacted... But it's Maiden, so i deserve a break ehehehe
 
As stated they have whole July and August to fill... Assuming they'll take around 14 days off in between we are looking at around 20 concerts still to be announced. (6 touring weeks with 3-4 shows per week).
 
Yeah they Say extensive tour over two years right?? I am sure they will hit all the areas they usually do. Would hope so anyway. Despite being a fan for over 20 years I have yet to see them live so I am really hoping I can this time out.
 
They haven't said that, as far as I know. They said the European leg of the tour in summer 2016 would be very extensive, but as yet nothing official has been said about 2017. Nicko said something in an interview a while ago about keeping his diary clear for a couple of years, that's all we've got to go on.
 
Didn't someone recently complain about Maiden hardly playing the Baltic states? I can't find the post anymore, but here ya go!
 
I do think they're going to get around a lot of countries. Maybe not play a lot of shows in any one, but certain cover a lot of ground.
