The Official Book of Souls Tour 2016 Thread (Warning: Spoilers within!)

No, I reckon Scotland is well behind Portugal in the queue. I'd be incredibly surprised if Portugal wasn't in TBOS 2016 tour.

I think so too, considering how in a way Portugal has been kind of a second home for Maiden. But at the same time let's be honest... We can't really say there is any guarantee, you know? :(

It's LOGICAL that Maiden will come to Portugal on this tour, not much else... That's why i'm so nervous about it, because considering how big of a Maiden-supporting country Portugal is and the huge number of times the band has performed here over the years, in a way i'd kind of expect them to announce the show earlier, you know what i mean?
 
I make that 53 confirmed gigs, plus Japan & China dates (which have been announced) still to be confirmed. July still only has that one Poland date, & with every month so far being 10+ concerts, that still leaves another dozen or so gigs still likely to be announced for the summer of 2016. That could mean a tour with maybe 70 dates. Pretty big, should this turn out to be only the first of two legs...
 
2 possibilities for live streams are Ullevi since they did that for The Early Days and Wacken. Quite a few other festivals as well so I have a good feeling that we're going to get at least 1 live stream.

Ullevi 2005 was Swedish public service TV & Radio, the only other concert they've ever done that for is The Big Four 2011. I think there has to be some exceptional public/educational interest for them to do that again, and especially with the same band - not very likely. (And since I'll be attending, I won't push for it. :P )
 
There's a bit of debate going on here and there about why the Japan and China dates haven't been announced yet.
