They've announced a Sonisphere in Switzerland at the start of June. I wonder if that will ever live in the UK again...
See, here's the crap bit; with these Maiden stand-alone gigs starting to hit. Their commitment to Download in the UK has clearly meant an agreement not to play any other UK gigs in 2016; or at least not to announce any until the Download gig is over (--so Download can maximise their ticket sales to fans who are basically only attending to see Maiden headline.) Why, if this is correct, would Maiden put themselves in this kind of contractual situation? They've probably had this kind of agreement in previous years; I'm curious as to why they think it's good or works for their own fans. They could clearly be organising and announcing a 2016 UK tour if it wasn't for Download. Is headlining this again so important? Is it money? I don't get it.
Does this give you any setlist ideas for when they play here on 21st June 2016?

The Ullevi show in 2005 was broadcast on TV, maybe that will happen again next year?Does any of these festivals livestream their shows on the internet?
