If Bruce was being on the level, it was random as they’d just rediscovered the jacket the prior day. Take that for what it’s worth.Wow, that would have been something to see this original jacket live! Why were the fans in Newark chosen for this? I'm a bit jealous.
No, I am happy for them.
This is the issue. At their peak they would just power through any tempo increase like a well oiled machine.some fills feel like they bring the songs to screeching halt for a second.
The jacket has been sitting at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in a small display case for at least the last few years. I saw it over the summer. It even says courtesy of Bruce Dickinson on the case. I’m guessing the Rock Hall shipped it out to them in Pittsburgh in time for him to wear it in NJ.If Bruce was being on the level, it was random as they’d just rediscovered the jacket the prior day. I’m just glad I was there to see it in person. Up the Irons!
The tour went very well, only Tacoma was under expectations but the other cities were 85 - 100% sold out. So same as in 2022, really disappointing is Mexico City.Does anyone have attendance figures for the US tour yet?
Have some of the gigs been properly sold out?
You mean like Lars Ulrichs fills? The problem is not the tempo itself, but the fact that it drifts within the songs too much and some fills feel like they bring the songs to screeching halt for a second.
The Baltimore show was amazing. Bruce was in incredible form. This band is a machine.Going to see Maiden tonight in Baltimore. I'm expecting a great show.
Maybe im wrong but it was the fastest nicko so far?The Baltimore show was amazing. Bruce was in incredible form. This band is a machine.
Bruce said it was the best crowd on the US tour and that they’d see us in 2 years.
Biggest crowd pops of the night were for Fear of the Dark, The Trooper, and Wasted Years.
Few things in life are better than a Maiden concert. See them while you still can!
Nah, that runaway train of a CSIT a few weeks ago was faster.Maybe im wrong but it was the fastest nicko so far?
Ah yes, what a nice way to celebrate 50 years as a band: by only playing songs from 12 years worth of material.More importantly: Run For Your Lives is the 50th anniversary tour according to Bruce (said it at the end of Wasted Years in Baltimore).
Guys, I already told you there will be part 2.Ah yes, what a nice way to celebrate 50 years as a band: by only playing songs from 12 years worth of material.
I hear that everywhere. Everyone wants to see them live again, some mention it explicitly "in the classic line-up one last time", meaning with Nicko....
