I was quite sceptical about on how Maiden today playing some SIT songs would sound like. And yes... details from certain songs are truly "simplified" when compared to the originals. And although the sound quality is far from being good I liked what I've heard: it didn't compromise the main dynamics. Overall I liked it and if they drop by Lisbon I'll see them for sure.

After 13+ years of listening to bootleg/amateur live versions of Caught Somewhere in Time, and never thinking they'd ever do the song live again, I teared up watching the youtube video for it. God damn.

I really hope we get a pro live release of this tour, or at least as close to a soundboard release we can get.

Exactly... And it couldn't be any other way. Nicko's almost 72 and even playing it this way is one hell of an achievement! And IMO it still sounded really good. Wasn't expecting it! Bravo mr. McBrain.
