The Future Past tour 2023

One more thing - I am kind of proud Maiden have been asked to do this. Obviously the promoters tried to get the biggest, most legendary acts in hard rock/metal that are still active to do this festival. And they chose Maiden. That's how I see it anyway...
I wasn't around for the 80s, but I do think their current period is the biggest they've ever been in North America. The tours are doing great (even the album tours!) and the studio albums as of late are usually in contention for a top-three chart debut.

Compare that to where the band was about 20 years ago, it's incredible.

Wonder how much of the audience for this will be genuine Maiden fans as opposed to older heads intrigued by the nostalgia element.

Either way, they would be people with deep pockets!

P5 $799 + fees
P4 $999 + fees
P3 $1,099 + fees
P2 $1,399 + fees
P1 $1,599 + fees

And the sad thing is, people are gonna pay these prices and think it's worth it.

EDIT: Fucking Forbes is even reporting about this. Probably big companies are going to buy bulk packages and give them out as sales incentives to their business partners who may or may not have turned up Paradise City when it was playing on the radio once on their way to work and thus think they like the rock music.

See? That's what I mean. It totally is not okay. 1600$ for the only decent seats to see six bands is not okay. It pisses me off that people think this is okay
Well for me it is. I am looking this as once in a lifetime opportunity.

These acts are not coming to Croatia at all except Maiden so for me it is perfect opportunity to see them all at one place.

And that price will not effect on my budget so why not if it is in Europe.

To each their own, Perun. For me the prices are crazy. If I were rich would I go? Hell yeah. Cheaper than spending 4 grand on a Motley Crue VIP package...

No, there must be a limit to what promoters can demand. This is way beyond any semblance of reason. If we normalise this, we'll soon pay these prices for single gigs. It's already commonplace to pay for a band like Maiden or Metallica what we used to pay for three-day festivals with them headlining.

Tell that also to the bakeries and foodshops with their crazy prices lately.

Prices of tickets is last that we should worry about.

The thing is these festivals aren’t really targeted at the hardcore fans on here. If you’re a casual rock fan and really want to see all six bands play, it’s not a bad deal. Judging by the comments on here, there isn’t a lot of interest in the other bands. In which case you’re paying $600 for the worst seats in the house just to see Maiden, which is ridiculous. I wouldn’t mind checking out a one day ticket for $200 if that became available, especially since I’ve wanted to see GNR live as well.

I hope there's a released blu ray of the entire event. Or at least Maiden's piece, since it'll likely be the best show to shoot for the Future Past tour. Maybe. Or not. Noodle balloons.

You have a point but I don't see this becoming normalized. If so, I just won't be going big shows anymore
