EOAC is devastating. I don't know what to say. I mean - call it amazing is not fair. I don't know what kind of deal with Devil Bruce has but this song redefine his all work IMO

Man, why are you depriving yourself? LOL Sure, you can wait 1 more week but, why do that to yourself? You've ordered it right? Feel no guilt.

And the best part of hearing it now is that it will sound a lot better when you get your discs. It's not like you're gonna wear it out in a week & never listen to it again. This is the type of album that you may need months of repeat listen to fully digest.

I have already informed the wife that I'm taking the weekend off from life to listen at naseum
 
""When the River Runs Red" is the most efficient Maiden song I have heard in a long time. For the moment, the title track is the least impressive maybe -except for the bridge- but it is still excellent.

I know what you mean. This one... holy shit. Bruce was always my personal favorite songwriter in the band, but I had no idea he had this in him.
 
fuck! I don't know what to do now! I have the thing waiting but my parents are visiting for the weekend. I snuck out from dinner and listened to half of iesf AND IT WAS FUCKING BRILLIANT! I will ditch my family this weekend I suppose. I have no time for kids, parent or other domestic business right now, dammit!!

Well I'm gonna pick it up at my local record store, which might have it on Tuesday.

Well, best thing about BoS and this whole leak is that a)SOL is weakest song on BoS (but I known this before - singles are always weak, for me at least) and b)Hell, this album is to cheap.

Just got done listening to the first disc, and all I can muster saying is, "Damn." If Eternity Should Fail was brilliant. Probably my favorite opener only after Moonchild. Fucking loved The Red and the Black, and The Book of Souls was haunting. Skipped over Speed of Light since I've already listened to it at least a hundred times.

Hate that I have to go to work in just another hour, so will probably save the second half until late tonight.

And have to help a friend move tomorrow. Oh well, he better be damn ready to listen to Iron Maiden as we do so.
 
Wow, can we give these guys some youth potions? We can't let them stop making music if they are gonna release ish this good.

This is my initial reaction as well. From my very limited listening of this so far, this doesn't sound like a band well into their 50's when they should be declining.

They sound very tight & on top of their game almost as if they have something to prove. They seem inspired & you can clearly hear it.
