I completely forgot about new albums often coming with a free digital copy as well! Anyone know what the chances are for TBOS vinyl coming with a free mp3 download? It's looking like a fairly standard thing these days, but where do we go to download our free copy or does it just say on the album itself?
Depending on how much I love TBOS album and after seeing if the book that comes with the 2cd deluxe is really cool I may have to purchase a copy as well. I'm wondering why Maiden is not offering a deluxe vinyl with the triple vinyl + book... I would gladly pay $35-$40 for it if there was the option.

It will most likely come with an MP3 download card. But if you buy it from Amazon, they offer a free digital copy with any physical music purchase.

The vinyl was originally (I assume mis-priced) at $13.98 and Amazon seems to be honoring it, it shows it will deliver on Sept 4. What they have up now is the import version .. which is really the same .. at an insanely high price .. same for the CD

Same here... I was worried they weren't going to honor it but I just got email conformation from them today. BRING ON SEPTEMBER 4th! :rocker:

Why is Rod always spoken of like he is a used car salesman? Its not like Maiden has put out a bunch of stuff that requires silver tongued devilry to sell.

Partially because of how ridiculously hyper-sensitive they've been regard this album release... reviews being published and then pulled, press releases being redacted... "Accept No Imitations" on the IM.com site and then getting all our news from other sources because they are rarely the first to post it.

It's just a bit of poking fun... Rod's a bombastic character and an excellent manager. Doesn't mean he isn't a bit ridiculous sometimes :P
