We can say it is likely they did some recording. I think that it is very likely that they recorded an album. I just don't think that matters. And unless people on the IMBB have posted pictures of things like receipts, or a booking log, or something with Steve Harris/Rod Smallwood/Andy Taylor's signature on it, it's not evidence. It's "people saying shit on the internet".

Of course, of course. For all that we know, they might have just used photoshop to generate those pictures of Nicko and make them look as if they were taken at Guillaume Tell studios in Paris. Who knows? They might have just only booked an expensive studio where they recorded one album in the past to play 'I spy' an not to record the material they might have been writing since reconvening after the end of the Maiden England tour. In the end, it is just a case of probabilities and likelihoods, although I have my views as to what is more likely and probable though.
 
The fact that you can see microphones all over Nicko's kit/the other percussion instruments is kind of a dead giveaway as well.

I agree. I am really looking forward to hearing what they have recorded and hope that those rumours that Bruce had been writing with Adrian are true.

They do record demos and rough takes of every song before final recording is done, though. I want to believe it, but I must play devil's advocate.
 
Yes, but don't you think if they were at G.T. studios doing preproduction, wouldn't they have been in the preproduction studio instead of studio A?
 
And there could be a dozen reasons why they were in the studio, as well. I agree it's likely that they were working on or recording an album, but we don't *know*.
 
It is valid enough information to confidently guess that they are working on an album. If people want to believe that Maiden recorded music and voices for a Sesame Street episode, let them. I know better.

I have highlighted the operative word here. We don't know jack. We can guess this, and we're probably right. But so many things can happen. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.
 
Do you think the band will reveal some new album news/details at the beginning of January?
 
We will get a slow burn .. acknowledgement that there is an album, a title, some artwork, a single, etc
