The first not so good review of ''The Time Machine''.

Exotic melodies in ''Stratego''!

The title track again sounds like a great song. Bruce effortlessly crushes soaring high notes!

''Death Of The Celts'' is a standout with a middle section of a ripping guitar duel - fantastic! Maybe the song will have only two solos.

''The Parchment'' will have a brutally good melodies, methinks.

-> I expected a more detailed and long review... ''Darkest Hour'' is missing.

That is correct. I was just being facetious. ;)

Dom is a nice guy, but he is a massive Maiden fan who has worked for them in the past (e.g. he wrote the text for the AMOLAD tour programme). I would take his Maiden reviews filled with superlatives with a pinch of salt.

EDIT: I know, I know, Dom did not review the album. Ooops!

I stand corrected! Dom’s tweet yesterday seemed to suggest he was the reviewer though.

At the end of the day, this review carries as much weight as the negative one from the German magazine. ;)

I can’t wait to hear the album!
