I remember some folks used to call Powerslave FillerslaveAs much as I love Maiden, which is my favourite band, I think this has never happened.

7th Son being the closest to a filler free album IMO.As much as I love Maiden, which is my favourite band, I think this has never happened.
No, I am just saying that if you put all the albums in order, the "graphic" looks like that (between albums). One good, the next not so good like the last one (not bad, but inferior).I'm assuming you say Killers, POM, and SIT are inferior to other Maiden albums, or inferior in general?
Because Killers, POM, and SIT all are fantastic.
Thanks! Another solid review, although much less detailed than other reviews prior to this one. Some songs aren't mentioned at all.Not sure what magazine this is from…
Sorry, I must have missed something. Where do these information come from? He's talked about it in an interview?Thought he had 16 songs written. Also he will use Eternity for his solo album and apparently one of the tracks is called Nightmare. I believe it will be a dark album in addition to it being a concept one.
Did a little digging it appears it could be from Fistful of MetalThanks! Another solid review, although much less detailed than other reviews prior to this one. Some songs aren't mentioned at all.
Wtf, they mention Strategi in the same box as Two minutes to midnight. If its even in 10 Miles from that im more than happyThanks! Another solid review, although much less detailed than other reviews prior to this one. Some songs aren't mentioned at all.
I have that feeling, too. Trying not to get too hyped for fear of a kind of a letdown. But I think I will love SenjutsuDunno but I get the feeling this is going to be a one of a kind album in Maiden's catalogue. I pre-ordered the digibook format from a Greek shop and I can't wait.
At the very least, I expect it to be the best since AMOLAD. If it's as good as that, that'll be enough for me, their best in the last 15 years.I have that feeling, too. Trying not to get too hyped for fear of a kind of a letdown. But I think I will love Senjutsu
Signs point to it being the best of the reunion era. We will soon find out!At the very least, I expect it to be the best since AMOLAD. If it's as good as that, that'll be enough for me, their best in the last 15 years.
To me, Dance Of Death, Paschendale, When The Wild Wind Blows, and The Red And The Black all feel more complex than Isle Of Avalon and Starblind and those were all played live.the more complex songs (Isle of Avalon/Starblind/Empire) don’t get played live typically.
I don't think I ever see snippets available ahead of time for any new album releases these days. The last Maiden album to have those was Final Frontier. While I like the Alchemist, I expect something better this time, they haven't released those as singles, but will see. Also, I expect song snippets also appear at Amazon etc. where you can listen into all the songs a few days prior.
That's #2 on the album for me, with Longest Day being #1.AMOLAD has one of their best songs ever. Brighter than a thousand suns is just perfect.
No2 for me is Lord Of Light, brilliant. That's #2 on the album for me, with Longest Day being #1.
