Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

I would love to hear Infinite Dreams live again. I was disappointed they decided not to include it in the Maiden England tour. Should have been there instead of ATSS.

Best maiden song imo. I thought they rehearsed this one but didnt work

That is my alltime favorite song by Maiden, they have wealth amount of greatness in the catalogue and so, for some certain or uncertain reason Infinite Dreams has always been really special song and favorite for me. The most disappointing has been that eventhough, as the reports say, the band rehearsed it but eventually they didn't take it to the setlist of Maiden England World tour, which it would have been essential part and it could have worked really well with 3 guitars. Bruce could still handle it well today.

They should replace for the greater good of god imo, its the weaker in the setlist
It was the song with the least enthusiastic response from the audience (like TOAC in 2016, if I'm not mistaken... and it was replaced for the 2nd leg) - it will be logical to replace it with another reunion song (FTGGOG->TWOTW), because the songs from this era in the setlist are only two.

TOAC was replaced, because it wasn't planned to be played in the first place... It was a wish from Nicko to include it.

No, ATSS is brilliant too. Agree that it's from different era, but I was really happy to hear it alive. It's a rare song, they can replace 23:58, TNOTB, Trooper, RTTH... So many great songs in their backcatalogue, but almost every tour we have the same selection. So sad that they haven't played Infinite Dreams then, it will perfectly fit, as it was even ME88 single.

Speaking of LOTB tour I think they'd better play one song per album as their typical set is 16 songs and at the moment they had 16 albums. Instead of this we have 4 POM songs, 3 NOTB, 2 PS and no songs from Killers, SIT, NPFTD, DOD, TFF, TBOS.

Honestly I'm quite happy to not hear anything from NPFTD. I'd not be fussed about hearing anything from FOTD either really.

Unfortunately, at my show ATSS was the "bathroom song"

This is a great idea for a setlist of a tour, but LOTB setlist is one of their best imo.

About the setlists of Maiden - we get a lot of new songs and tours for the classics. Yeah, they could have played more deep cuts, but the setlist staples like TNOTB, Trooper, FOTD, Iron Maiden, HBTN (RTTH is skipped for album tours) will always be there. The big classics of the band.
I really liked the deep cuts for the recent tours - FTGGOG (fantastic epic), FOI, SOTC and The Clansman (all are classics) for LOTB tour, COTD and Powerslave for TBOS tour, ATSS, SSOASS and The Prisoner for ME tour (Infinite Dreams, Killers or Still Life would have been great, but I love ATSS).

Meh, I'm totally happy with four Piece of Mind songs.

Sudden thought - the Japanese stuff fits in quite well in a year that the world has focused on Japan as host of the Olympics. It's probably not the reason the album was kept for 2021, but it certainly ties in a lot better.

Don't know if the pictures gave away the song lyrics (probably did). I am curious how the chorus would be.
