Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

Bruce probably can't sing it anymore.
No, he won't be able to sing it like he did in 88 but I think he could still do it justice. I've wondered more than once why "it didn't work" in 2012. Was it Bruce? Maybe. We don't know for sure except the band.

I'd personally choose HBTN as the first to hypothetically make way for new tracks. Fantastic song, but I am too used to the studio version and find it really jarring live.

Not going to commit to a second song after that, any choice will hurt.
Wow. I think it's the opposite for me. I'm too used to the live version and when I go back to the studio version, it feels slow and strange. Still amazing though, and the more I listen to the studio version, the more I love it.

Could happen. Think Bruce really started to struggle with it with its super late placement in the set. Just make the encore Senjutsu -> TETMD -> RTTH

Well TBH it was gone from the setlist for over a year due to the legal issues.

Starblind is my number one favorite Maiden song. I’m curious if the new album will have a song that good.
Finally! I love the entire album, but I have listened to that song so much and refer the unconverted to that one as an example of their greatness.
I am not a musician at all, but the timing on that song is just so cool, the rhythm or something is just magical.

With this ongoing Covid situation.. if virus will mutate in the deadlier direction, we, as a fans, will be f*ked. There may be no LOTB or Senjutsu tours in 2022 and 2023. Let's hope not. So far, I've got my first Pfizer vaccine shot, second will be in August 19th.
Or the bands may tour in very selected regions. North America, for example. Or in the countries, where big part of population will be vaccinated. So far, in my small country, there's no chance legally to gather 10 000 people in concert. Summer's not ended, but there's steep resurgence in the numbers of positive covid's, where people needed hospitalisation.

I dont think this situation will get any better and this is a big risk for a band to go on world tour.

N.America and UK are ok for tour and maybe Europe but all other world not at this moment.

I dont think that any band will take such a big risk and start touring with this status of pandemic. Because they can lost tons of money. For entering a lot of countries for some work relation trip you need a milions of papers, permits, few PCR test, days of quarantine and problem is even you are vaccinated a lot of countries just dont accepting that as some benefit and again a lot people at the end are false positive and they got stucked in some hotel room for weeks.

In my industry few of my friends got stucked in some Asian countries for two months in hotels and quarantines because PCR test was always resulted positive but they didnt had any symptoms, they were fully vax. Ofc all that costs a lot of money and can you imagine if that happens to some metal band while they are on big world tour.
