Sabaton

Anybody going to see them on this massive arena tour in Europe?
Still cant belive that Sabaton is biggest metal band in Europe minus Maiden and Rammstein. I would say they sell even more tickets than Nightwish.
Well deserved. I've been fortunate enough to have seen them at Sweden Rock in 2007 when they "headlined" the warm-up day. Now they headline the festival instead. I have also seen them twice at their hometown Rockstad/sabaton Open Air festival (which is sadly no more) and once in a small venue during their crazy Sweden tour, where they played almost literally every town in the land. They are one of the most fun live acts I've seen. They were a good support act for Maiden in 2013, but yeah, they don't need to open for anybody at this point, Maiden included.

Sabaton announced The Legendary Tour for next year. With an orchestra, narator(?) and other surprises. Promised to be bigger and better than ever.

Now that's a tour poster! And it's not the full version of it. :ok:

God I fucking hate when music videos have their own sound, it distracts from the song.

Anyway, song's fine, probably won't stick with me but it's nice to hear a Sabaton song that's not about WWI after.. six years of being on that subject?

Yeah, same here.

I think the production doesn't do it any service, it sounds artificial, like a lot of metal does nowadays, but it's an okay song, possibly better than anything I heard by them in the past few years. Also, I appreciate the theme/lyrics, lol.

The second single, ''Hordes Of Khan'' is classic Sabaton. We've heard it before, but it's always cool. Fast rocker with a memorable chorus, the main melody is great and catchy (ofc), effective solo. Interesting and longer music video.

Basically. But that’s not the worst thing that could happen. Looking forward to the album, and seeing them in Oslo later this year.
Yeah, the albums are basically just an excuse to tour at this point. I will always go to see Sabaton live, but damn do I wish the new material were more interesting.

It really seems like they're too young of a band to have nothing left to say musically? But oh well.
