That’s a breath of fresh air! Hope they stick with it off the set for awhile (or at least away from the opening slot). Their concert intros have become super stale with it.Strange to see Sabaton show without Ghost Division.

The setting of the stage set is cool - towers and swords. On this Swedish tour they are using only backdrops and not using any pyro and no tanks on stage.
I just finished listening to The War to End All Wars.
Terrible fucking album.
I think it has far more replay value than Great War or the one before it. Definitely still a far cry from the glory days, but at least it harkens back more to their classic style. I’m particularly impressed with the heavier focus on great guitar work.I just finished listening to The War to End All Wars.

I admit I haven't listened to it since it was released. It didn't leave much of an impression. I'll have to give it another try.I just finished listening to The War to End All Wars.

The crazy thing about being a Sabaton fan is that I can agree with these points and still enjoy the album.Just very Sabaton by the numbers, nothing really interesting or inspired, and the constant sappy/happy tone really bothered me. This isn't a band trying to challenge themselves at all.
Yeah these are all criticisms you could’ve lobbied at Sabaton since at least Heroes if not earlier. Just a matter of which uninspired retread you end up liking. I’m just glad the album has some bops and isn’t nearly as meh as The Last Stand. Still wish they’d push themselves though. The crazy thing about being a Sabaton fan is that I can agree with these points and still enjoy the album.

You forgot about Metallica.Still cant belive that Sabaton is biggest metal band in Europe minus Maiden and Rammstein. I would say they sell even more tickets than Nightwish.
