On a more serious note, there seems to have been more promotion for the show lately, probably to try and shift more tickets with the Black Friday frenzy before the Christmas madness.

I’m curious to see how many tickets have been sold for the added (Sunday Sept. 6) show in Harrison N.J. I pulled up that show on Ticketmaster.com, does anyone know how I can see those numbers?

The Black Album is certainly a heavier album then Fear of the Dark is. I don't buy the whole Metallica are bigger because they "sold out", I think they're bigger because people like them more.

I still say Fear of the Dark was made to garner commercial, more mainstream acceptance in America.

You have to count and be "in the known" for GA pit. That being said, they're at around 3/4k tickets sold so far (counting resale tickets as well)

I doubt they would sell out two nights. Even when they sell out an arena tour in the UK, that includes people who buy tickets for multiple nights and causal fans who come because the show is on their doorstep.

Two different shows might help. They have a greater capability to do that now with the screens.

If they only went for 2x London Stadium in the UK on a tour like this I am sure they could have sold over 100k tickets. Maybe even 60k each night with strong support acts.

There are some rumors the rest of the dates could be announced next year, but nothing credible.
