OK, but Iron Maiden are playing more concerts (generally), and you must realize Metallica doubled the shows with 80% the same people in the audience both nights! This could be called a monopolization strategy in the concert markets (money-grabbing anyway). The final results are fewer shows, more big venues, and more people, just because of their strategy to sell two shows at the same stadium(s) to the same people and even give them "free CDs".
You are not implying that Iron Maiden are a charity as opposed to the Metallica money-grabbers, are you?
Metallica play bigger venues that Maiden in a lot of places because they are a bigger band, full stop. For example, if Maiden could sell out 4 shows at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico they would be playing 4 shows there instead of just one.
