Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

It is The Run For Your Lives World Tour 2025-2026. Im sure its gonna end in 26.

So far only Adrian has his little tour next year that ends in march. Mabe a Legacy 22 type tour next year but with less shows in Europe during the summer?

They're not playing Wacken, othwerwise they would've been announced already

Why do you think that? The headliner is not always announced in the first wave of bands.
Guns N'Roses as the headliner 2025 was announced in December.

There are always various factors when the announcement comes, for example when the band itself wants to reveal their touring plans or a time when the ticket sales need to be pushed again, especially the Harder and Louder tickets with fewer perks.

The 2022 show sold badly, they probably thought it was too much of a risk coming back one year later

I'm sure the booking of the venues for 2023 was already finished before the show in 2022 took place. So the lack of Athen in 2023 wasn't a consequence of poor ticket sales.

I know bands that know their tour plans two years in advance, or start booking venues that long in advance. Therefore, I believe that a band of the size of Maiden can look ahead several years and know what is planned for, say, 2028.

This whole COVID situation has certainly thrown a lot of things into disarray, and I've been wondering for a while what Maiden's tour schedule would have looked like without COVID. Would there have been a 'pure' Senjutsu tour (without) SIT in 2021/22? What would have happened between a Senjutsu/TFP tour and the anniversary tour?

Yes, for such a big tour, everything is booked and finalised a year in advance, so you need to know what you want at least a year and a half in advance.

Athens not getting a show on TFP still confuses me with Alexander finally being played.
It'd be amazing if they added Alex as a one-off for Athens, but they're not that type of band unfortunately. Too set in their ways.

According to https://touringdata.org/2019/10/03/iron-maiden-legacy-of-the-beast-tour/ it sold 26.000 tickets which was an 87% capacity.
Better than Sofia, Wien, Zagreb, Belgrade, Bucharest, Budapest, Belfast, Arnhem, Zurich and Berlin which were all at the same leg.
Bleh, now you're starting with those pesky facts!:p

Bruce’s revenge on the Greek cunts fans? After years of teasing them, I am sure finally playing the song on a tour without a Greek date felt like being kicked in the teeth…
I hope they as a band or Bruce as an individual with some influence in it would not stoop that low but for sure it was odd and can`t have gone down well with the Greek fans.

I've always liked how Metallica will just say "why don't we play jump in the fire tonight?" and add it to the set

If Bruce wanted "revenge" on the Greek fans he would have not played there on his solo tour and not played a good bit of ATG for the fans at the show. I think it's just an unfortunate coincidence. Maybe there was no suitable date/place/availability to fit in Greece for that tour? I know there was originally supposed to be an Atlanta (my hometown) date for TFP tour but it was changed to Charlotte. Their social media even fucked up and put on Facebook a poster showing an Atlanta date (and no date for Charlotte) AFTER tickets went on sale for Charlotte. That caused some confusion.
