RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Iron Maiden
Phantom
Running Free
Killers
Wrathchild
Murders in the rue morgue
The number of the beast
Run to the hills
Hallowed be thy name
The trooper
2 minutes
The evil that man do
Fear of the dark

These 13 I think are very very safe bets. Maybe we have room for like 3 or 4 more, as these songs are way shorter than the average they play on tour.

Rime has a bigger chance than half of those IMO.

The certains for me at this point are Iron Maiden, Phantom, Trooper, Hallowed, Run To The Hills and Fear Of The Dark. There will be 3-4 deep cuts IMO.

I don't think they'll actully play something they've never played before. Just songs they haven't played in a decade or more. TFP was a big exception probably to get Nicko to play Alexander. But this

Iron Maiden
Phantom
Running Free
Killers
Wrathchild
Murders in the rue morgue
The number of the beast
Run to the hills
Hallowed be thy name
The trooper
2 minutes
The evil that man do
Fear of the dark

Is already 70% of the concert for sure.

I wouldn't mind Wrathchild coming back!

9 songs from the first three records.? No chance thats happening.

Personally, I think the new tour will open with BQOBD and the set list will more or less resemble the tracks from A Real Live Dead One, with one or two surprises thrown in.

I would prefer they open with Murders in the Rue Morgue with the intro on tape.

Also, I think Fear of the Dark will be the only song to represent that album and BYDTTS will be the only song from No Prayer. That will leave more space for more 80s songs, especially rarities like Remember Tomorrow, Still Life, to Tame a Land, Back in the Village and Infinite Dreams.

From SiT they will probably play one song(hopefully Sea of Madness or Deja Vu) or maybe they'll just keep Stranger.

Interesting that TETMD wasn't mentioned. I'd be seriously surprised if they didn't play it because it's taken the kind of extended break it's never gotten before partially thanks to corona, being last played in 2019, but SSOASS is probably the one album where they could pull out something a bit unexpected. Might end up being wishful thinking, but I'd rather be a little optimistic.

With Bruce now being the weakest link following Nicko’s sad retirement from live duties, The Evil that Men Do would be a very challenging choice. Sure, Bruce can always let the audience sing the challenging bits, but it has been ages since he had done the song justice live.

Yeah but it's not like he cares about that. If he did, AH would've been tuned down in 2022 and Trooper retired since 2014 at least and definitely not played in the encore like they've been doing lately. Besides, he half-speaks his way through TETMD anyway so I don't think Bruce himself actually considers it a difficult song.

Going back to that article, one interesting exception from that list is Wrathchild. It is extremely rare for that song to make it on the night 1 set probably because they like having a contingency if something goes wrong. With that in mind, I would actually bet against Wrathchild appearing in the set. I'm kinda willing at this point to take that article highlighting Murders in the Rue Morgue and the Killers title track as gospel. Either way, if they're going to put heavier focus on the first two albums, I have a hard time imagining them digging out Drifter and Another Life again.

With that in mind, I think these are locks or close to locks:

Iron Maiden
Phantom
Running Free
Killers
Murders in the Rue Morgue
The Number of the Beast
Run to the Hills
Hallowed be Thy name
The Trooper
2 Minutes
The Evil that Men Do
Fear of the dark

That leaves three or four open spaces. There's no blatant teasing for the song, but Rime feels like a strong possibility. Clairvoyant is about due for a comeback. I could also see them bringing back Die With Your Boots On or 22 Acacia Avenue. Remember Tomorrow is a dark horse from the Di'Anno years that would also make a nice tribute to Paul. There's room for Bring Your Daughter if they actually intend to include that album, which I still feel quite skeptical about.

If they wanted to continue the recent tradition of righting past history tour wrongs (Somewhere in Time revival to make up for SBIT, Flight of Icarus on LOTB to make up for that song never returning), Infinite Dreams feels like an obvious choice.

Maybe this time they come up with Charlotte The Harlot again but keep it in the setlist instead of kicking it out after the first two shows. Wouldn't mind Purgatory too.

This. Evil That Men Do's chorus is tough for the encores. I think the encores will be the usual suspects - Number, Hallowed and Hills, although I would like a fresh approach to them (no, not Running Free), if possible. 2 Minutes again there? Clairvoyant, Daughter?

ARLDO with a few surprises is very possible.

Chances imo:

certain - Iron Maiden, Trooper, Fear, Hallowed, Run To The Hills, Number, Phantom, Wrathchild.

next in line - 2 Minutes, Evil That Men Do, Killers, Running Free.

probability - Rime, Seventh Son, Remember Tomorrow, Clairvoyant, Bring Your Daughter, Afraid To Shoot Strangers, Murders, Boots (maybe), Alexander(?).

deep cuts - Infinite Dreams, No Prayer, Be Quick, Wasting Love, Tailgunner, Sea Of Madness, To Tame A Land, Still Life, Sun And Steel, 22 Avenue, Prowler.

I'm not expecting live debuts - now. And idk why, but I exclude songs like Aces High, Powerslave, Children, Moonchild, Revelations, Icarus. Or Where Eagles Dare.

I wouldn't rule it out, unfortunately. 1-2 extra 80's songs instead of a 3rd 90's song. If these songs are rare cuts, then I won't complain.
