RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Am I the only one that doesn't think they care if their last gigs were to be outside of England/Europe? They've never seemed particularly sentimental about shows in their home country to me.
I feel they care about that. Ofc a big (SA) festival is also appropriate, but I think their last show will/should be in London in a stadium or arena.
I am not so sure they will be playing any rarities...
Any? Why? Especially after the current tour. Plus Nicko and Bruce expressed a desire for that. It's time, now or never. The current tour also shows that only 3 of the must-have classics can work (with other popular 80's songs ofc) - and for the new tour they'll return some of the other old classics, so.

Rod said in the press release that they want to present the old songs in a new way with the stage set, but they know this won't be ''enough'' for the tour to be interesting, even now and even after 50 years. Memorable, for sure.
They've started to get adventurous in the last few tours, they included the 2 early 90's albums in the theme (2 or 3 songs from them is certain) so why to stop now, especially since the press release implies that this won't be their last tour. Yes, some of the old songs may indeed be played for the last time (even more so if they do a Part 2 of the current tour), but they have room for 4-5 surprise alongside the usual hits.
In the press release they also promised a special setlsit, which I don't think will be if it's like the previous History tours (given the theme).

It wasn't Chris Dale, but he is the third guy to run onstage.

I feel bad for laughing, but it looks just ridiculous.
I'm sorry, I admire his dedication and understand that six children from five marriages is not ideal if you want a comfortable retirement in your mid-60s, but this is not simply ridiculous, it's humiliating.

Honestly I think it's just a case that they know they HAVE to play FOTD as its one of their biggest songs, so they made it an "up to FOTD" theme.

It wouldn't surprise me if we only get FOTD and AFTSS. I'd love for them to surprise me with BQOBD or Judas My Guide, but don't know if that's likely.
I'd also bet they don't play ANYTHING from NPFTD.

Don't think so - official message was that this tour will contain songs from first nine albums.

I am still waiting to hear the 5th song off The Number of the Beast the official press release said they were going to play in 2007 on the A Matter of the Beast tour. :P

Joking aside, I hope all 9 albums are represented in the setlist and the PR blurb is not just an excuse to justify playing Fear of the Dark…

I understand it as the setlist scope being the time period of the first nine albums, but not all of them being represented in the set. No Prayer being the most likely one to be skipped. That being said, I think it's just as likely that Bring Your Daughter will be played; just not "confirmed" per se.

Thet that would be a shitty move from IM side - in at least two places they are talking about nine albums so getting hopes up is normal
