RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Thet that would be a shitty move from IM side - in at least two places they are talking about nine albums so getting hopes up is normal

Yeah, that's true as well. Personally, whether they'd skip No Prayer altogether or played Bring Your Daughter.... to the Slaughter isn't much of a dealbreaker for either way, but of course it'd be cool to see that album to get some setlist representation after a while.

Then again, I'd prefer a deeper cut from Seventh Son or, for example, another run of Icarus instead, but yeah, whatever. :D

To be fair, Bring Your Daughter.... is actually one of their most stadium friendly tracks out there, so it certainly has a fair chance!

Its like when you turn the Killers album cover for example and you read the track list and you find this:

TIOM
W
MITRM
AL
GK
IE
K
PS
P
D

Honestly I think it's just a case that they know they HAVE to play FOTD as its one of their biggest songs, so they made it an "up to FOTD" theme.

It wouldn't surprise me if we only get FOTD and AFTSS. I'd love for them to surprise me with BQOBD or Judas My Guide, but don't know if that's likely.
I'd also bet they don't play ANYTHING from NPFTD.
I agree with most of this post, although I do believe that a NPFTD song will be included in the setlist. The new Eddie is basically the NPFTD-era Eddie.

Of course, they gave him the axe (a nod to Killers) and you can see some more or less subtle references to other albums (such as the Seventh Son Eddie's eyes), but in general, they took the Eddie from the picture above and made a few adjustments.

I think that it's high time to play Bring Your Daughter again. But as you said, I don't think they will play more than 3 songs from the 90s albums in total. If Fear of the Dark had not been one of the band's biggest hits, the tour's repertoire would probably have included only the first 7 albums.

Playing songs from all 9 albums is what will make the tour different and special than the previous History tours. The theme of the tour and the comments in the press release should make sense! Right. It would be a big letdown. And the poster screams early 90's.

I'm not sure if the second FOTD song or the one from NPFTD will be the safe bets (Daughter and Afraid). Yeah, Daughter has a big chance since it's a great singalong live song, but it's about time they play the title track again (in general a song from this album). Bruce might want to play Tailgunner, Be Quick is a great opener, Wasting Love is a popular song, while they played Afraid in 2012/2013 - and I don't think they'll want to copy (more or less) the ME set.
Daughter is with a less serious lyrics, so I'm not sure if they'll want to play it again (like some other such songs from the 90's or 22), but I prefer it to Running Free. The question is - will we get more than the certain 2 songs from the 90's (3 at most).
I think W too
Well, Wrathchild is the most likely from Killers. It is what it is. I want to, but doubt the title track. They will play something from it for sure.
I understand it as the setlist scope being the time period of the first nine albums, but not all of them being represented in the set. No Prayer being the most likely one to be skipped.
It's tough to represent all albums with 15 songs (and with multiple songs from some albums), but it's possible, and if there's one album that may be skipped - it's SIT, because of the current tour.
Then again, I'd prefer a deeper cut from Seventh Son or, for example....
I think the possible 80's deep cuts are: Only The Good Die Young, Seventh Son, Infinite Dreams, Rime, Still Life and maybe Killers, 22, Land, Sun And Steel... Prowler and Remember Tomorrow are also deep cuts, right.

I am still waiting to hear the 5th song off The Number of the Beast the official press release said they were going to play in 2007 on the A Matter of the Beast tour. Joking aside, I hope all 9 albums are represented in the setlist and the PR blurb is not just an excuse to justify playing Fear of the Dark…
Good call with the 5th TNOTB song in 2007. But this time I don't think they will.

Most likely, the golden period, but the early 90's era is more popular than the late 90's era and there are other popular songs among the fans, despite the 90's albums regarded as their weakest.

I just had a look at the ticket avaiability for london/brum/manchester and i am really impressed. The latter two are pretty much sold out and London looks well on the way to it which i am most surprised at. I know Twickenham was 16 years ago but i didn't think Maiden had grown much since then.

When they announced the tour i was thinking no way can they do london stadium + other dates when Twickenham was what, 80% sold?
Colour me impressed lads.

Yeah London seems to have sold very well considering it is basically the size of 4 O2 Arenas, just a smattering of seated tickets left in the upper tiers and still some standing left, although there's no way to tell how much. It will surely be sold out by the time the tour comes around.

My only concern is that this means they will stick to stadiums in London for the future, as indoor shows are much better.

Although it is too early to know for sure about London Stadium (sometimes entire sections are not put on sale until they shift loads of tickets in other parts of the stadium), the sales have been excellent and exceeded my expectations.

How many gigs do you think they will play in London after 2025?

Only 1 more I fear, I think they will have one more headline appearance at Download and then a farewell run, officially labelled as such or otherwise. They could even be hedging their bets this time around by having what could be their last ever headline London show at the West Ham ground, it would be very fitting.

I even got the impression Legacy of the Beast was a hedging tour as well, but even more so this one.

Potentially they could do a US run in 2026, then a brief return to Europe, and call it quits off the back of this massive tour.

Sun and Steel again... Oh well, I suppose it is possible... ;) I just don't see why it, out of all the songs, would suddenly pop up, especially given the amount of setlist candidates that are somewhat similar type of songs and sheer amount of more likely options from Piece of Mind; Flight of Icarus is a single, hence not a deep cut per se, but I would absolutely welcome it for another victory lap. It sounded pretty decent even on the tougher nights of 2019 and I'm quite confident it would still sound great next year. :)
