RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

If we got Rhyme, Phantom and Killers I’d be happy.

Personally I’d love to open with Tailgunner, or for Infinite dreams to be performed, but that’s unlikely. I’ve accepted long ago FOTB won’t ever happen.

Revelations and Hallowed are in my top 3 songs so I’ll never tire of them.

RTTH does little for me, but it’s the most nailed on song in the set list.
My dream is to see Rime and SSOASS (obviously it will not happen), also, Tailgunner is nice, but as the opener I’d prefer to see Be Quick

Here's my take:
  • They'll play 16 songs. (They've ranged from 15 to 17 over the past decade. They're getting older, which suggests fewer. But songs from this era are shorter, which suggests more. Split the difference and call it 16).
Sounds reasonable. But 16 will be max.
  • We'll hear eight out of ten "greatest hits" from the era. (Iron Maiden, Wrathchild, Run to the Hills, The Number of the Beast, Hallowed by thy Name, The Trooper, 2 Minutes to Midnight, Wasted Years, The Evil That Men Do, Fear of the Dark). These are the safe & predictable choices. They'll want to play most of these songs in order to appeal to the casual fans at larger venues.
Yep! Wasted Years MAY be dropped from the set, but the other tracks are guaranteed.
  • I excluded Aces High, because I think the intention was to retire it after the Legacy of the Beast tour.
  • There will probably be two "epics" - Phantom of the Opera seems almost certain, and there's a good chance for Rime of the Ancient Mariner. (So we're up to 10).
Definitely.
  • I'd guess we have a couple of songs from the Paul Di'Anno era. Running Free and Sanctuary are probably the safest options. (We're up to 12). Killers, Murders in the Rue Morgue and Remember Tomorrow have also been mentioned.
Killers would surprise me, the others I agree.
  • We'll have a couple more songs, aside from the hits, from Dickinson's first five albums (13 and 14). I think Still Life has a good chance. It hasn't been played since the 1980's, it's not too difficult, and it would appeal to hardcore fans. We'd probably get one more from around this era. Infinite Dreams would be ideal, but if they weren't happy with the rehearsals 15 years ago, I'm not sure if they'll play it now. Perhaps something faster and energetic, like Die With Your Boots On, 22 Acacia Avenue, or The Clairvoyant.
Boots, Acacia and Clairvoyant are likely. Still Life would be awesome but I highly doubt it.
  • The last two songs (15 and 16) would come from the last two albums from this era. My guess is we'd get two of Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter (dumb, but easy to play, and catchy - I can see it working well live), and then either Afraid to Shoot Strangers or Be Quick or Be Dead (which would be a great concert opener). Maybe No Prayer for the Dying, but less likely.
Definitely possible, but I still expect them to skip No Prayer entirely, sadly. Be Quick would also be a real surprise. But I also expect only 15 songs instead of 16.
  • It depends on exactly which songs are included, obviously, but this would work out to approx 85-90 minutes of studio track time. (If I've added this up correctly, the Futures Past tour had about 96 minutes of studio track time - so maybe there's room for one more song?)
Heaven Can Wait has a good chance. With a prolonged ohohohoho part, you get your 95 minutes.

I would prefer Stranger in a Strange Land or Sea of Madness over Heaven Can Wait and Wasted years, they've been played a lot in the last 25 years.

Same here. That being said, Heaven Can Wait has not been played that often (thankfully) in the last 25 years. It used to be always played, but since the reunion it has only been played on the GMETID tour in 2003 (and not on all dates!), on the SBIT tour in 2008, and on TFP tour in 2023/2024.

Wasted Years (a much better song if you ask me) has been played on more tours (Ed Hunter tour in 1999, SBIT in 2008/2009, ME in 2012-2014, TBOS in 2016/2017, and TFP in 2023/2024), but funnily enough was not that much of a live staple from 1989 to 2008 (with the exception of the short tours in 1993 and 1999).

I’d love to see Loneliness and Sea of Madness for RFYL tour, but if I had to bet I’d say that only 1 SIT song will be played (quite obvious because last tour was SIT heavy setlist) so even though I would love to see Sea of Madness and Loneliness, it will be difficult to see them, they would opt for HCW, Wasted Years or even Alexander (considering that last tour it was played for first time)

Really wish they would've swapped Sea of Madness for Heaven Can Wait on TFP tour, since no high quality recording exists of it played live. Closest I've found is Paris '86--it sounds great, apart from the fact the whole show has this high-pitched ringing over the top of it that makes it just about unlistenable. I too would hope that would be the lone pick to show up in RFYL to represent SiT...but since it already got skipped for TFP, the chances of that are about zero.

Agree with everything. Wasted Years is light years ahead of HCW in terms of song quality.

If they do anything from SIT, my choice would be keeping Stranger, if they want to do a shorter song or keep Alexander if they want a longer one. I doubt there will be any deep cuts from SIT (songs that weren't played during TFP).

I would be happy with the obvious choice (Wasted Years) but would love to see Alexander the Great or Stranger in a Strange Land again, the latter with Bruce’s microphone muted during Adrian’s solo.

100% certain: Iron Maiden, FOTD, Phantom of the Opera, Running Free. Also Sanctuary is extremely likely
Some classics obviously, probably at least the three amigos from TNOTB since none was played on Future Past Tour and Trooper etc
NO songs from SIT due to just being played
1-2 never played songs or extremely rarely
A deep cut from Killers
2 songs from the 90s apart from FOTD title track
And the rest are neither rare nor played to boredom
This. Spot on about all! I hope so.
I doubt both Running Free and Sanctuary (even one), but with 17 songs, I'm still not sure (the number of songs too; 16? yes). I don't want them, but if they don't play a single song from SIT, I can see it. They haven't been played in 10 years time.

Neither rare nor played to boredom - so like Clairvoyant, Prowler, Remember Tomorrow, Boots, Afraid, 22, a SIT song?
I want Killers over Murders since they didn't do Killers on the Early Days tour
Yep, more different songs as possible. The ones which missed previous tours.
My dream is to see Rime and SSOASS (obviously it will not happen)
2 epics are definitely coming. I want to see the most: Be Quick, Wasting Love, No Prayer, Killers(expected!), Land and OTGDY. All SIT songs and Rime/Seventh Son too. Infinite Dreams, would welcome it ofc.
Now bruce is saying greatest hits tour?
This is their style since 2003. Greatest hits, but with a 90's twist, that's the difference.
during 90s they setlist were almost the same. They stuck to ETMD clairvoyant heaven tropper rtth and the others you all know. Until 99 then they remembered that they had many classic songs
Well said.
It's the 50th anniversary tour, I would be surprised if they didn't play Wasted Years.
After TFP I don't expect a surprise from SIT (if they play any song - I'm still not sure), but please enough of Wasted Years. Big classic, but keep Alexander. Heaven too, doubt it despite being a great live song. Better Stranger. Long Distance Runner would be a big surprise, Sea Of Madness wasn't it said to be rehearsed last year?
