RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I was thinking about the new art with RFYL Eddie that was shared here last week. It's an official art (probably for the tour), but Maiden hasn't shared it anywhere yet. Upcoming merch? Is it possible to be a hint? It's just Eddie on a black background with a cigarette. Stranger? 2 Minutes? Holy Smoke?

And ofc Eddie's overall design is a reference to the early 90's, early 80's, Infinite Dreams single, Killers, Clairvoyant...

I doubt it's official, but then again - I put my coffee mug behind my laptop this morning and spilled it before I even had a sip of it when I adjusted the laptop screen. What do I know

So a greatest hits set list is...and not in that order
1.phantom of the opera
2.iron maiden
3.wrathchild
4.the number of the beast
5.hallowed be thy name
6.run to the hills
7.2 minutes to midnight
8.wasted years
9.the evil that men do
10. The clairvoyant
11.the trooper
12. Bring your daughter to the slaughter
13. Fear of the dark.

Ive seen that show 15 times.

Something like that wouldn't excite me either. But I've had the luxury of seeing them a few times over the years. Others will see Maiden for the first time ever. Or for the first time in who knows how many years. This show is for them and I'm sure they'll be over the moon. Not everything has to cater to me 100% of the time.

I have been fortunate enough to see them many times since 1996, so would appreciate having some deep cuts or rarities thrown in for good measure. However, I am well aware that this is going to be a Greatest Hits tour that caters to casual fans, not necessarily the diehards.

On a purely selfish note, it would be my daughter's second Maiden show, so them playing their most popular songs is probably going to make her happier than a setlist filled with plodding longueurs.

Fully agreed on all points. And honestly? Despite not being that excited about the potential setlist, I'm sure I'll still have a blast at the concert and at the end of the day that's all that matters, isn't it?

I am more excited about the stageshow than the setlist this time. Ahead of Future Past it was the opposite.
Yeah, although I was also very curious about TFP stage because of the themes. Like for every tour. Despite the theme, I am also curious about the potential setlist this year. And ofc expect most of the hits (8-10 max). Rod said that with every tour they want to do something different, this time it's the brand new stage and I am sure the setlist won't be just the usual stuff.

Based on that art, I think Stranger is confirmed as the SIT song of the setlist, which is great! The shoot in the head is again in evidence, which I assume is a hint for Afraid To Shoot Strangers. Besides that, the general concept is a clear reference to Infinite Dreams Eddie, that is probably the biggest deep cut that we, the diehard fans, expect at this point of their career. After Alexander, I think we can dream with it...

Since I want as many different songs as possible, I'm fine with no SIT songs, as wild as it sounds. Stranger is great ofc. Maybe Alexander has the best chance?
The bullet is a reference to Aces High single Eddie, the only reference to its album. I guess Infinite Dreams (the concept is a mix of early days and early 90's) and To Tame A Land are the biggest deep cuts that we could dream, after Alexander.
Hmm that could be a hint. I'd be happy for Stranger to remain in the setlist.
It could be a hint, but it could just be a reference/made for fun. And I doubt they'll put a hint for a SIT song after the latest tour. Although I assume they have a clearer idea of the setlist now (Bruce for sure) than when the tour was announced.
