RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

That is not true. Sometimes magazines/podcasts are also interested in touring members/professional musicians with various jobs and nobody forbids them to give the interview.
Its simply not the IM style. As others said, there will be something near the start of the tour on the fc forum or maybe also on their yt channel.

I am too lazy to read 100+ pages, but was there any outrage about the support acts? The godawful Avatar on the second leg, another of Steve's children on the first. If he is like Lauren, God help you. I am not going, so I don't care, but to all of you going, you have my sympathy :cheers:
Maidens support acts have been torturous for almost 2 decades now. They once forced me to see Within Temptation. A case for Amnesty International.
Thank Eddie I saw them several times before this, with supports like Megadeth and even My Dying Bride.

Yes, I already complained about it in the Blaze Bayley thread.

Could see him do a interview for the fanclub magazine just before tour start or during the tour.
Yeah, I don't expect anything now either, but closer in time to the tour I still think it would be a good idea.

Yeah we've got Raven Age in Glasgow. They're like a more generic Bullet for My Valentine. Still better than Shinedown though.

I loved having Killswitch Engage on LOTB, and enjoyed Funeral for a Friend on Dance of Death tour.

They've had Ghost supporting in the past, but obviously that would not happen now.
I saw them back in 2013. Funnily enough I did not enjoy their show at the time, like at all. Nowadays they sound very different, but I was quite surprised when I heard more of their recent and popular stuff because my memory of their concert was veeery different.

One question to all who are going to see Maiden on the upcoming tour, because I asked myself the same question and I'm curious if someone out there might feel the same way I do:
With the new drummer it feels not like Maiden anymore to me. I'm sure the shows will be good, they all give their best - but still, without Nicko it feels to me like this isn't Maiden anymore. It's the other five guys with a new drummer, but not Maiden. Incomplete. The gap just can't be filled, and I don't say that because I had a problem with the new drummer. I have not. I would feel the same way as I described if they had for example even Dave Lombardo or Mike Portnoy on drums - they could have the greatest drummer in the world behind the kit. So I have a feeling that I won't be really able to enjoy the shows, and I was seriously thinking about not going but selling my tickets.
How do you feel about it?

As long as Steve, Dave, Adrian and/or Janick are there, it’s still Maiden to me.

Are you one of those lineup purists?
