RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Don't expect more than 1 previously unplayed song. Maybe none.
There are very few songs that would generate any hype even from us hardcore fans, and even Alexander the Great got a fairly lukewarm reception outside the most hardcore fans tbh

It's probably only four or five songs left from that period

Sun and Steel
Sea of Madness
Only the Good Die Young
Judas Be My Guide

And those are a stretch.

Yeah. Sea Of Madness was played, but yeah, I get the point.

No song will generate the hype as did Alex and that was brewing for 30+ years.

If they do a previously unplayed song it will likely be Only The Good Die Young.

I think the biggest realistic shock for me would be if they play Rime, Alex and Seventh Son in the same set.

Ok, so Bruce's social media statement has been misinterpreted. He clearly said that they will do things that they have never done before. And I think that was in terms of production.

Most likely this. Debut again of at least 1 song is possible now. More than 1 would be the biggest surprise!

There is no second ATG, but I guess the songs are:

all the never played from Powerslave
Deja-Vu
Only The Good Die Young
Judas Be My Guide

from the rare songs:

Remember Tomorrow
Prodigal Son(?)
22
Boots/Still Life/Land
Rime
Sea/Runner
Infinite/Seventh Son/Prophecy(?)
No Prayer
Be Quick/Afraid/Wasting

3 80's epics in general, and I think Bruce implied this by saying setlist for the ages.

Oops!! I was about to write Loneliness, but then I realised it was played once, and for some reason I changed it to a song I knew was played.

Not sure what happened there. Might be getting old and starting to forget things!

I don't know I just shared the post, but I agree with you. Out of unplayed songs I think Prodigal son (like Paul tribute or smth), Sun and steel (cause beer) and Only the good die young have good chance of being played.
I also think that if they are bringing songs to life like never before as they stated, it could be some more epic songs rarely played. Like maybe further develope powerslave act or smth.
I really doubt they'll play quest for fire and dress up like cavemen.

Exactly, if he would like to talk about the setlist he just said it straight without using the word "stuff/things".

I mean they'll play 15-16 songs. Even if they play the 6 classics and another 5 well known songs like ETMD, 2 minutes or whatever, they have another 5 songs to make it interesting.

Iron Maiden
Phantom of the Opera
Running Free
Sanctuary
Wrathchild
The Number of the Beast
Run to the Hills
Hallowed be Thy Name
The Trooper
2 Minutes to Midnight
Wasted Years
Can I Play with Madness
The Evil that Men Do
The Clairvoyant
Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter
Fear of the Dark

There you have it. 16 songs for a very interesting setlist.

I bet that is exactly what you will get. Not sure what your definition of "interesting song" is though.
I imagine they will be doing a standard hits setlist. However, they have never really done one of these before. For most of their set lists, they have front loaded with deep cuts and new material with some classics for good measure.

I think they will be pandering to the masses of casual fans who have made them sell out stadia. The discussion here about a setlist filled with deep cuts and epics is pure fantasy.

I'd love to be wrong though...

This is worst case scenario. They won't do Madness again. Also, I doubt both Sanctuary and Running Free will be played. I'm sure 10 or 11 of the songs you mentioned will be in the setlist. The rest will be interesting. They won't do an all hits setlist.

What about ME, SBIT, TEH tours? Also, doing a standard hits set doesn't rule out a fair number of deep cuts.

Expected given the theme, but I think Maiden proved they do what they want. As seen from the latest tour, all they need are 3-5 big classics. I don't expect the predictable songs/classics for the most part.

This. Minus Wasted Years too.

I'm sure I will enjoy whatever they choose to play. It's a celebration of 50 years so expect and don't cry when they play a lot of the usual suspects.

For me I would be overjoyed to hear Infinite Dreams and Killers again! And if the production is bigger and better than LotB tour as promised, we are in for a treat.
