TBH, he dropped Darkside Of Aquarius after he realised that it's a bitch to sing at 65+ and simply too high for him now. Aces High should've gotten the same treatment, but no... The plane video is valued more. Can't even blame Steve since he's been stubbornly doing the same thing on his solo outfit too.

Honestly, we need a new album. Like desperately need a new album.I kind of understand them with the lack of other changes, they will release their first live concert video since 2017 - and almost all of the biggest classics are here. The ultimate Hits release for them. Plus, now they have the big surprise. Maybe the next tour will have more ''rare'' songs (with the likes of Evil, Running?).
These are not rare songs. And who knows if well have another tour.I kind of understand them with the lack of other changes, they will release their first live concert video since 2017 - and almost all of the biggest classics are here. The ultimate Hits release for them. Plus, now they have the big surprise (one more was possible, and would have been perfect). Maybe the next tour will have more ''rare'' songs (with the likes of Evil, Running?).
Yup... so... father time, age, getting old, you name it. It's normal. As for learning to sing in the 90's... this is the same old discussion. I really think what happened was the length and demanding of the World Slavery Tour completely wrecking his voice or something similar. 1981 to 1985 Bruce is still what IMO is his peak. And nobody takes such a nosedive during their 20's like Bruce did from that tour to Somewhere On Tour without something really unusual happening.Everyone's voice naturally lowers as they age
True... Tracks like The Book Of Thel sound a bit lackluster to say the leastCan't even blame Steve since he's been stubbornly doing the same thing on his solo outfit too.
Melodyne might get called into action...Look forward to a butchered , godawful version of Aces forever documented in the Paris release![]()
I have no idea what to expect for the next tour (which will be in 2028 mind you).Maybe the next tour will have more ''rare'' songs (with the likes of Evil, Running?).
Im ok with that. Npftd has some songs to listen but apart from BYDTTS the rest is not good enough to play it live. And that one not is even a greatest song live. They dont give a shit about that album (sad). Thet advertised the tour from debut to fear of the dark just to play fotd.
If they make Maiden Symphony I think it's mandatory. And I'm not even a big fan of the song.Live version of Empire of the Clouds?
If we are to follow maidens past trajectory of studio album releases, tours to promote new album followed by a greatest hits tour which has in a way been the case since 2003, we ideally should expect a new album maybe early 2028. I’m speculating they’ve either already recorded something or will do so next year.I have no idea what to expect for the next tour (which will be in 2028 mind you).
A hits tour? New album tour? Reunion era tour? Maybe something like the first leg of LotB (mix of old and new)?
Hoping for the latter one honestly. But I doubt we're getting even more "surprises" in the next tour(s). Alexander was a question from fans for YEARS, Infinite Dreams only made sense because of the book, but what's next?
That and Paschendale. If they make Maiden Symphony I think it's mandatory. And I'm not even a big fan of the song.
And do what? Shit, off-key singing sounds like shit in-key singing with melodyne. Though some overdubs would be welcome...Melodyne might get called into action...
Yup... although there's already a somewhat decent version of what it could be on the Rainmaker single, I think. That and Paschendale.
Maiden could pull of a S&M like Metallica, absolutely. But it wouldn't be a tour, just a one time show.If they make Maiden Symphony I think it's mandatory. And I'm not even a big fan of the song.
