I kind of understand them with the lack of other changes, they will release their first live concert video since 2017 - and almost all of the biggest classics (and the big songs from the 80s) are here. The ultimate Hits release for them. Plus, now they have the big surprise (one more was possible, and would have been perfect).

Maybe the next tour will have more ''rare'' songs (not much from the 80s left now, To Tame A Land?; with the likes of Evil, Running?).

Honestly, we need a new album. Like desperately need a new album.

These are not rare songs. And who knows if well have another tour.

Yup... so... father time, age, getting old, you name it. It's normal. As for learning to sing in the 90's... this is the same old discussion. I really think what happened was the length and demanding of the World Slavery Tour completely wrecking his voice or something similar. 1981 to 1985 Bruce is still what IMO is his peak. And nobody takes such a nosedive during their 20's like Bruce did from that tour to Somewhere On Tour without something really unusual happening.

I have no idea what to expect for the next tour (which will be in 2028 mind you).

A hits tour? New album tour? Reunion era tour? Maybe something like the first leg of LotB (mix of old and new)?

Hoping for the latter one honestly. But I doubt we're getting even more "surprises" in the next tour(s). Alexander was a question from fans for YEARS, Infinite Dreams only made sense because of the book, but what's next? Live version of Empire of the Clouds?

If we are to follow maidens past trajectory of studio album releases, tours to promote new album followed by a greatest hits tour which has in a way been the case since 2003, we ideally should expect a new album maybe early 2028. I’m speculating they’ve either already recorded something or will do so next year.

Maiden could pull of a S&M like Metallica, absolutely. But it wouldn't be a tour, just a one time show.

I think there will be A LOT of complaining from fans if Empire would be played in a regular setlist. I remember lots of people complaining about Death of the Celts in 2023 which is 8 minutes shorter than Empire.
 
I think that in 2028 they will start the tour early in the year (which means North America first for a change - they always play europe in the summer as it's warm then). But what the tour will be, is a mystery
