RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

I believe it was around the time Senjutsu was released. IIRC I think it was along with toying with the idea of playing all of Senjutsu live (which I would have loved). But if there is ever going to be a show for the hardcore fans I'd like what I said earlier - made up primarily of rarely played and never played songs.
Well if we unite legacy tour and senjutsu opening and future past tour. They almost played the whole album less the parchement, lost in a lost world and darkest hour?. Next tour and im not talking about 2026 has to be album and deep cuts. After playing greatest hits i expect that. When? Dont know

Is there any consensus on the best performance(s) of this leg of the tour?
Great question. I went to 5 gigs, first 2 Budapests, 2 Berlins, and Warsaw.

For me, the first night at Waldbühne in Berlin was pretty much perfect, performance-wise.

But honestly, the last show in Warsaw was amazing too – such a massive and joyful crowd, the vibe was incredible.

From a fan's perspective, the first 30 minutes of the Budpest gig felt just like stepping into the Live at the Rainbow video. So that one will always be extra special to me.

Nice to see they gave Janick some spotlight in that thanks for the tour video, iirc usually he´s not there at all or the last person. But that´s not gonna save them from a bit of a slap in the face. Referring to the setlist obviously, last time. While they say they´re not a cabaree band, still when you look at it, they played no less than 12 songs they did back in 2008 so they basically did nostalgy tour about a nostalgy tour. Yikes. Best that can be said that at least Clairvoyant was in the setlist instead of Evil That Men Do, but its a small comfort. While there can be 3-5 classics rotating, I think thats enough. They have done enough tours with the greatest hits.

I certainly hope that Bruce doesn´t treat TM in his forthcoming solo tour like the band treats NPFTD. Also where was Infinite Dreams I ask. Would switch 7th Son to that in a heartbeat. Also would the time be ripe to give FOTD a rest and play something else from that album, or at least something like Die With Your Boots On or 22 Acacia Avenue instead, which are not that far fetched. Aces High and Wasted Beers were the two biggest disappointments. No need to play the former again with the struggles and literally anything from SIT except those beers which have been open and in warm for a while. Running Free, while reasonably overplayed, has been less compared to WY in recent years, and therefore would have been excellent choice for the last encore with the crowd singalong etc.

But so that it will not be total negativity, Killers, Murders, Rime, Phantom, Powerslave were pretty much what doctor ordered, although would take To Tame A Land over Rime or Powerslave.. well, there I go again.

One can only hope that 2027 sees the band return to rare stuff and ditch most of the overplayed stuff.

Wasted Years is by far their best closing song. It wasn't always a staple, but it is now and I love it. It's the only hit, I don't want them to drop. Also, it had one of the best stagings. The screens really helped it.

I agree! It´s a great song and lyrics wise it's the perfect concert closer! Together with Hallowed, Fear and Trooper it should be always there!
