This tour feels slightly rushed and under prepared - apart from screen. Sticking to the big hits and same usual structure, especially encore, shows a lack of interest in creating something a bit “different”.

Strikes me as very much, “let’s just go out play the hits and go” - same eddies same outfits same props. Seems a bit of a random tour tbh and wondering - what is the point of it?

I wouldn't say that... Hallowed's production still gives me chills. It's that incredible.

Punting out Struggles High again for some spitfires on the screen is a different story.

Fantastic start, wonderful footage of early days. Simon sounds great and it would be awesome to hear The Ides of March live for one time.

One observation I have is that this is the fastest set they've done since probably the Early Days tour. Very few slow sto to speak of and lots of energy.

I think some of the productions are excellent including hallowed

The video wall being so tall definitely helps the stage look more impressive. Even when they're using a simple backdrop like Trooper it comes across better with the sheer verticality of it, despite the actual stage part still being the same size as before, and the pan at the start of Murders actually made me feel a bit dizzy even on a YouTube video.

But I do think it's a shame they mostly decided to forgo physical effects as a result, since I think they could've done some really cool things with big inflatables backed by a moving background, like the Spitfire for example. I figure it was probably an either/or situation budgeting wise though.

Well, hate to say “I told you so” but I knew they wouldn’t pull any actual rare songs out. Talk about overhyping and underdelivering. And nothing from NPFTD.

Good there’s lots of pretty screens for people to watch instead of the band though, I guess. But even that is about two decades behind the curve of every other major touring act. They really are stuck a few decades behind what’s happening.
