Holy Stamkos, I guess not being on the Olypmic team gave him a chip on his shoulder! Cant imagine how this team is going to do once Gange and Lecavalier are back.

I'm also really happy for Price he has shown the fans that it was the right choice keeping him.

My night last night consited of watching 2 hockey games, well we had a NHL 11 tournemnt going on. Man I love this time of year!
 
I've been thinking the same thing. Well... except Stamkos actually making the Olympic team. At the time it was the right choice. He will definitely make the next tournys squads (worlds, cup and olympics), but he is a major beast. Crosby is nothing to sneeze at either being second in EVERY category (goals, assists, points).

Price, Rask and Thomas have been playing really well, but I'm very happy to see Price step up as he should and to see Fleury back to his old self.
 
Crosby has taken over the lead in the points race with a hat trick! This is going to be one amazing race with him and Stamkos!!!

Ovechkin has been doing well, but hasn't made as much noise as in previous years, he's being overshadowed this season by the other Alex (Semin) who is on fire! Their countryman, Malkin, is having yet another off season.

Honestly, Crosby is the only person in Pittsburgh who's played with any consistency. Fleury is streaky, Malkin seems to have fizzled out and the rest of the cast are a bunch of role players. On D Goligoski and Letang have slipped right in very nicely, but it still early in their careers as starters to jump to any conclusions.
 
A fan owning the team, instead of someone who is just trying to break even in the regular season. It's like when the Molsons bought the Habs back, it made me smile. It's like when Mario bought the Pens.

I have to say it, if you've seen NHL.com you know what I'm talking about... Sidney is tied for the Goal lead, has solidified the points lead with his second HAT TRICK of the season! What What! OOOOOOOOOOOOOH YEEEEEAAAAAAH! I'm still upset with Malkin though... He needs to be playing better.
 
Malkin will play better...when he's not playing second fiddle. They should trade him for a high-scoring winger.

Agreed. Once that happens he will do what Thornton's been doing in San Jose. It really is a Win-Win, Pittsburgh finally gets a good winger to play with Crosby and that team gets a beast that can tear it up through the middle and occasionally on the wing.

um... only 3 of them. just this week there were 5-0 games, I think an 8-1... there was a 5-4....
 
you are EXACTLY right. 5 starters, after Price, Brent Johnson is Pitts back up with exactly 2.00, they kinda fall off after that.
 
WTF? What was Miko thinking? That's funny though, there's no f-you like scoring and an even greater f-you scoring with your opponent's stick lol. I was to busy watching Malkin almost be the hero in the pen-philly game only to see them lose because of his penalty to notice this nugget.
 
Technically, I think the goal should not have been allowed.
Taking another guy's stick is a penalty.
But was great to see one missed call so sweetly cancelled out by another.
 
What I want to know is why Glendale's City council hasn't been murdered... they approved for the coyotes to stay in town... Why? WHY?! 117M or so to keep them, money that could be better spent elsewhere. God I hate PHX....
