Why do something that will affect the outcome of a game? And that fucking headshot Brashear gave Betts? I doubt Campbell even looks at the footage. Somebody needs to pull a "McSorley" on Brashear. Fucking goon has no place in the league.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Yeah, that's never happened before!!

My point exactly
I am disgusted that none of the Rangers have taken a run any of the Caps. I mean a cheapshot on Betts and the Caps taking runs at Lunqvist, no consequences? C'mon, even a highschool team would have taken a run at someone.

Tort's suspension had no effect on today's outcome, I'm sorry. When your super goalie lets in 5 goals in 20 shots and your offense can barely put up 2 goals, that is not the coach's fault. LC said it before, NY consists of one pro goalie and 19 pick-up players. It was only a matter of time for Lundqvist to get tired, he's only human. Not to mention all the goals were to his glove side... they found his weakness. NYR played like an apathetic, defeated team. You said it best Nigel Hubbins, No one showed up after Betts got knocked straight to Pluto or when Henrik got run over (the goal was legal though as it went in before contact).

Yep.  They said it is the next 7 games, whether that be 7 playoff games, or the start of next season.  Also, he is for sure out for game 7.

I think the suspensions completely fair, dirty hits like that sucks to be on the receiving end of and how is betts doing anyway?

Edit: According to TSN Betts has a broken orbital bone, I don't no crap about the human body so how bad is that?

Mind putting proper punctuation on that sentence? What is fair? The hit? the suspension?

No word on Betts just yet, but he didn't return to the game. He couldn't even skate off the ice by himself...

Betts has a broken orbital bone.

Looks like Calgary is done.  Chicago is up 3-0 after the 2nd...I can't see Calgary coming back.  Chicago could go deep, I like their team and if the Bulin Wall has been constructed again, no puck will cross, even if Zombie Reagan gives a speech ending in "Mr Toews, open this gate.  Mr Toews, tear down this wall!"

And Anaheim finishes the upset!  Can Hiller be the new Giguere?

No.  Jigger's still a better goalie than Hiller, who is good.  But I think that at some point Hiller is gonna break down, and they will play Giguere again.  This is including my irrational attachment to Giguere, who was the hometown goalie for the local Q team.

At the moment Hiller is the better goalie, it's all about who's hot at the moment *cough* Washington *cough*.

I'd hate to be a Sharks fan right now lol. I am conflicted about Calgary's loss. I'm sad they lost, but like LC I really like Chicago's young team, so Go Hawks!

New York Rangers post a pathetic 15 shots in a 2-1 loss.

They REALLY didn't deserve to win that series.  I'm glad they didn't.

They screwed up badly, but now we get the super series between Crosby and Ovechkin! I'm rooting for the pens, of course, but regardless of who wins this has so many potentials including the begining of a decade-long REAL rivalry! (Not the hype the papers turn out for the sake of attracting readers).

Well the Rangers fell in game seven. At least I can sleep at night knowing that the Devils gave up two goals in the final 2 minutes (48 seconds apart) to join the Rangers on the golf course. I am glad to see the Caps and Pens facing off this round. I think the Pens are going to be to fast for the slow footed Washington D men. Also, how tested was Varlamov in the series with th Rangers? Even though he has a playoff series under his belt and the confidence that goes with it, the Penguins have alwfully big guns offensively and I think we will really see how good the young Washington netminder really is. I think the Penguins will win in six games, even though I would like to see the Caps win.

Has Washington exposed a weak glovehand on King Henrick? I don't know, the last goal by Fedorov was to that location, but him being a left hand shot coming down the right wing, I think Lunqvist was expecting a shot to his blocker side, towards the far post. Fedorov was able to come to a full stop at the face off dot because Redden backed too far in, and made a perfect shot to the shortside, glove high. $6,000,000 for Redden and he won't even stand anyone up in his own zone. He sucks on both sides of the puck. To think that we could've had a legitimate PP QB in Mark Streit for $3,000,000. UUUGGGGHHHH!
