Official Hockey discussion thread

OK, I'm off to check that out!

I did stream the Blues game last night.. good stuff.
I really need to find a monitor output cable to hook up to my tv....

Good idea.  Tho, my tv has a monitor input on it, so I can use it as a second monitor.  Kinda cool!

Saw the end of that Habs game.  Watched some of the Chi-Calgary game.  Good on the Hawks.  (sorry to the Flames fans )

If you blinked last night, then you missed Havlat's OT winner 12 seconds into the Chicago/Calgary series. Havlat took a headshot off a faceoff and it woke him up. He had the game tying goal and the OT winner. plus Khabibulin absolutley robbed Jerome Iginla with 4 minutes left. Great game and I think this series is going to be the one to watch in the west

This is also the first time in his career that Havlat's had a real chance at the playoffs.  He's always hurt or playing for a shitty ass team.  So I'm glad he did well.  I still want Calgary to win, but I'm happy for Havlat.  He's got skills.

Him and Gaborik have been plagued by injuries and it sucks, because they are both extremely talented.

Calgary is pissed with that goal claiming their was interference. Regardless they need to get over and prove they are in fact the better team.

For his (Ifinla's) sake, cause he is a class act, I'd like to see the Flames do well.  But, I think the Hawks are gonna fight like hell, and their goal-tending is looking very fine right now.

Kipper was trying to sell a goaltender interference call. He never saw the shot coming, but his own man drilled the Chicago player into his own net.

I was just saying that the face of the Flames is Jarome, and as Iggy goes, so do the Flames in general.

Holy shit, i can't believe the Rangers won both games in Washington. Usually you are successful just to split the games. Thank god we have the King to steal a couple of games for us. The Capitals have to be talking to themselves. I am surprised they started Varlamov. Very risky. I don't think he had that all a difficult challenge this afternoon, so he should be OK for the next game. :yey:

Very true, 35 vs. 23 shots... damn. The Russian Rookie played way better than Theodore though. I expect him to start the rest of the series. This time it wasn't his fault, but the Washington O. Seriously, The Rangers sat on a 1-0 lead! I'm glad though, Washington won't win a series until they get themselves decent goaltending not that they got a good offense.

They should rename them the New York King Henriks, since they have one pro hockey player and 19 guys playing pickup.
