Can Scotland have one of Norway's goals please? Slovakia's goalkeeper has made three great saves and Scotland just hit the bar. 1-0 Slovakia written all over it. :facepalm:
 
Scotland hit the bar again and then forced another quality save from the Slovakian goalkeeper, but Scotland won it with a scrappy goal which has been credited to Martin Skrtel. Plus Harry Kane ended everything for Slovenia. It's all set up for Scotland to fuck things up away to Slovenia on Sunday and miss the play-offs.
 
Fucking Kane is sooo lucky. FFS. One half mistake from Oblak and Jokić and we fucking conciede. Pathetic.
 
Aye, I heard it was vomit. Still, at least they qualified. Now the rest of us can await the fluffed up hype of this being 'their year' followed swiftly by the ignominious exit at the hands of some 'lesser' team in the second round.

We bottled it vs. Austria ffs. Now we need to beat Georgia to qualify directly. We'll be playing at home, but pressure will be huge... I'm scared.
 
Ireland still have a chance at direct qualification, then. If Serbia shit the bed again and we stab Wales we top the group. Heres hoping. Outside of that, we need to beat Wales and hope for a draw in the Croatia Ukraine game. Many connotations. Should of just beat fuckin Georgia.

IDK how a retired footballer can be call up for NT.
 
Hope Scotland advances today. Would love to see them in the World Cup. UK & Ireland teams always bring excitement to the tournaments they appear in.

Also, South America is criminally underrepresented in the World Cup. They get to send four teams directly and an extra one through the Playoffs. Yeah, it's a small group of countries in the continent but pretty much all teams besides Bolivia and Venezuela are World Cup material. It's very unfair to a team like Paraguay to have to overtake Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia and Chile to qualify for a spot.
