NOW PLAYING

Man, YouTube with its algorithms really hates human hair, it seems.

Why does Tyler look like someone pissed on him, again?

These people also see the horror

Had this on repeat throughout the whole day, btw. Most likely the only Floor-era track I'd rate above 8, but I'd actually rate it 11/10 at that.

The most deceiving lead single I've seen, honestly.

Fucking wonderful. Powerful. Energetic. The chorus with the ending shrill belt is exceptional.

And also, Tuomas, your obnoxious preaching is much more palatable if you fit it into something energetic or even give it a genuine frustration/anger. That's how metal works.

Overall, one of the tracks I can hardly find any flaws in.

(although it's funny how Tuomas as an educated non-native speaker has this tendency to be unnecessarily florid in English, I also have that tendency, recognise it and find it cute, but you might say it's a flaw just as well)

EDIT: Also, Evanescence probably did that idea for a video better, let alone earlier. I know the repetition is intentional, but if I'll see Marco with that weird smile and throwing pills in his face one more time I swear I'll...

Judas Priest - Evil Never Dies

It wasn't one of my favorite songs from the album at first, but it's a great song. Almost thrash metal. Heavy riff, very good pre-chorus and brutal chorus (with the drums). The middle part is cool and it fits the song perfectly, while both solos are really strong. Rob's vocals are insane at the end of the song. What I like most about the song is that it has different parts for its 4:25 minutes - two solos, different riffs, calm middle part with bass parts, exciting drumming, guitar licks under some parts (trademark for Richie) and echo screams (trademark for Rob). :rocker:

-> Hope the new album will have more songs with such a structure.

^ Maiden would have made an epic out of it lol.

Not at all a fan of the whole 'we hate god, hail satan' thing from this band but damn this album is a masterpiece! Can't stop listening to it honestly! One of the only Black Metal (or Blackened Death Metal, whichever you prefer) bands I really enjoy. All other Black Metal is just noise to me.

Can you believe that this was released in 1982? Breakthrough in more ways than one: Heavy and fast as fuck. Dual guitar harmonies & solos out of the best Priest songbook. Earliest double bass in metal ever?

True classic! Breakthrough indeed! Not only from Priest songbook, but from Accept's own I'd say too. About the earliest double bass in metal, it could be.

''Noise'' is an essential song for the band. Every part is pure Nightwish! Modern classic imo.

How did I miss someone posting that song?

Saw Nightwish live this year at Pinkpop and still get tears in my eyes whenever I put on either Noise, Élan or Storytime. Noise is such a great Nightwish song, and one the many songs that made me a Nightwish fan!

Remember, young insecure boys, if Meat Loaf can get a new chick in every video, you can, too.

BTW, this probably jumped over Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves and became my favourite Cher song, for what it's worth.

I haven't visited this thread for a couple of days and just went through about five pages of unread posts. Of all of those posts, this is the best song from any of them.

Actually, it's probably something from one of Kalata's Maiden playlists. Still, this song rips.
