Eric played on one of my favourite concerts:

I think he is underappreciated as a drummer, simply because he plays for KISS. The guy is an absolute monster.

He also played drums for Avantasia's The Scarecrow and some songs on the following The Wicked Symphony and Angel of Babylon.

Absolutely love Singer as a KISS drummer. He did a better job Peter Criss on the "reunion" tour anyway.

Sure, Peter Criss is the original..but Singer has great groove and style.

I like all of the KISS drummers, but I agree that Eric Carr was the best drummer they ever had - and one of the best drummers IMO.

Carr was ok and had energy and groove but I never liked how he played the songs like DRC on that hyperspeed and even Paul had difficulty to sing it properly.

Carr's technique and feel was superior. Only "secret" Kiss drummer Anton Fig (who played drums on Dynasty & Unmasked) played this well imo.

Yesterday, on Nicko's birthday, Rupert Hine died. Hine was the producer of Nicko's favourite album of all time (by any band): Worlds Apart (1981) by Saga.
