Nicko McBrain retires

From Rod's statement:

"[...] and I am sure we can find a few more special ones around the Maiden family and FC!"

This is vague enough to mean anything, but it could also be read in a way that would allow another album with Nicko, or a couple of songs on future live shows. I imagine when the eventual final show will happen, given he's healthy enough, Nicko would play at least one song to mark the occasion.

Isn't "1 godz" 1 year ago?

I doubt that they knew about this 1 year ago.

Again, if I had to bet, I'd put my money on Jason Bonham, considering the recent events surrounding him...

Just saw few videos of raven age, their drummer is technically good, but has no feel at all.

If steve does not give a shit about this detail, he could be the option..

Bill Ward ? :D

As he said recently he has a lot of energy and is ready to rock out. :p

Moreover, he's free now and available.

Why my money is on Bonham is because of this...

The band actually sounded better with Bonham than Aronoff. And this is a bit of half arsed statement IMO, so... My money is on Jason currently.
Jason Bonham's old as fuck
get in joe please

Jason Bonham sounds like a real, sensible idea - getting a new younger drummer in the band won't take away that the other band members are in their mid 60s and being fronted by a cancer survivor.

Just posted this in the Replacing Nicko thread by mistake -

I wonder if the guys have played with the new drummer already, without us knowing? Surely, they wouldn't hire a new drummer without knowing how well they perform together?
