The new drummer,
Rod said they always get their man, so I think it won't be a big name and it will be someone they know. Englishman.
Oh shit I hope it’s not Jason Bonham. That guy’s awful.

If he's good enough, it would certainly make sense.Justin McBrain ?
When is Kevin Shirley retiring? This may be a new age for the band, lets see how some new energy into the bands affects them
Hopefully not at all. Kevin is great (I mean... Just listen to the new Black Country Communion record), and I attribute most of the mistakes and rushed stuff to Steve. When is Kevin Shirley retiring?
I've always thought their sound was defined by Janick's solos but that's just me I guess.Maiden's sound is entirely defined by its rhythm section. Anyone arguing against that is simply wrong.

I’ve never been impressed with his drumming. He did well on Celebration Day imo, but I’ve not cared for his drumming anything else he’s been on.Oh shit I hope it’s not Jason Bonham. That guy’s awful.
Sammy fired him. Jason’s mother got cancer and he had to fly home to tend to her. Kenny Aranoff is musically a much better fit for Van Halen music, Bonham was too heavy handed. That being said, it was a low class move by Hagar to tell Bonham they were continuing with Kenny in that situation, and you could tell by Bonham’s statements on social media he didn’t see it coming and wasn’t happy about it.Jason Bonham was curiously left off the Hagar residency in Vegas and replaced by Kenny Aronoff... Just saying.
He stated that he was shocked about it, but we have seen stranger scenarios. Jason would make sense as a lot of Nicko's bass drum playing was influenced by Bonzo.
If that were true then replacing Adrian with Janick and Bruce with Blaze wouldn’t have made any difference to their sound. Which is clearly absurd. You don't need to temper your statement with an at least this is what I think when you're literally right. This isn't a matter of opinion. Maiden's sound is entirely defined by its rhythm section. Anyone arguing against that is simply wrong.
Yeah, we've got the receipts. If that were true then replacing Adrian with Janick and Bruce with Blaze wouldn’t have made any difference to their sound. Which is clearly absurd.
Kenny Aronoff is not a better fit for VH music... They can say whatever, but the musician in me doesn't agree. Aronoff is a great drummer but he doesn't play nothing like AVH...Sammy fired him. Yes well, Hagar swears that he was abducted by aliens in the 70's and subjected to medical experiments at their hands so...As I said, there are 2 scenarios, but letting go a drummer of 10 years after a family emergency is strange...
I actually prefer the way Aronoff plays Van Halen music over Bonham…Kenny Aronoff is not a better fit for VH music... They can say whatever, but the musician in me doesn't agree. Aronoff is a great drummer but he doesn't play nothing like AVH...

That's a load of bollocks. It was LZ who fucked up by not rehearsing and then changing the song arrangements at the last minute without telling him.As long as it's not Phil Collins, I'm fine with almost anybody. He once butchered the Zeppelin reunion during Live Aid by his ego, and I think Jimmy Page doesn't speak a word to him up to the present day.
True that.Yes well, Hagar swears that he was abducted by aliens in the 70's and subjected to medical experiments at their hands so...
