Meh. Lars' baseball cap is lame, but these are millionaires in their fifties, they should be endorsing fancy suits. I'd rather see this than Metallica-logo Affliction shirts.

Ha, true, Lars looks like the ultimate douche in the first two photos. But the whole thing doesn't surprise me. Metallica got us all used to this kind of stuff, I think.
 
I just wonder what kind of monster the new album is going to be. Probably a shitty one. IMHO they didn't do two decent albums in a row for the last 25 years. DM was decent so I expect this one to be crap.
 
You can just feel that creating new music is a drag for them. They don't care at this point, it's a business. IMO. Come on, 8 years with everything but a new record...

Yeah, they're done. I'd rather they just keep releasing cover albums from here on out. Those have more heart and better production.

As fun as it is to hate on Metallica, I really think they just prefer playing live. They've never been big songwriters and only really wrote a handful of great songs. It was always about the live show with them and they still bring it.
