6-5 for 'The X-Factor'. A close one! Ultimately the inclusion of a b-side in 'A Matter of Life and Death' won it for 'The X-Factor', although I don't like '2 AM' much and probably narrowly prefer 'A Matter of Life and Death' as an album. There were some tough choices in this head-to-head. I found it especially difficult to vote against 'Look for the Truth', 'The Aftermath' and 'The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg'. Some of my favourite Iron Maiden songs are on these albums.

Ooooh, this is brutal. TXF and AMOLAD are my two favourite Maiden albums. Choosing between Lord of the Flies and These Colours Don't Run was extremely difficult.
6-5 for TXF.
