I've always loved how Maiden seem like a family. Yes they have rows but there is something about that group of lads that I've never seen in other bands, not The Beatles, Zeppelin, Beach Boys to name some. Perhaps AC/DC could be up there too as they've always bonded. Maiden just seem to be so happy to be playing and yes, Dave Murray is always smiling. On seeing the documentaries I'd include Rod Smallwood in that family. Oh and I loved that they kept Janick on when Adrian and Bruce returned. That right there gave me such a good feeling about the band. I don't think they needed Janick after Adrian returned but he's such an integral part of the band and I've never seen a guitarist do what he does on stage. Great stuff.

Well that's my stream of consciousness done. :)

PS: I love that this forum has PROPER smilies! :shred:

I really hope the doctor is right about this just being an abscess in my leg. There's not any opening on the skin or anything, I guess it is deeper. The doctor only spent about 2 and a half minutes with me from walking in the door to heading out of the door. Oh well. If he's wrong I'll see in a week. I was going to pick up a six pack tonight and listen to Ratt but I'm going to avoid alcohol until after I'm done with my antibiotics.
Your doctor is almost certainly correct. Abscesses are very common; doctors see them all the time. For your doctor, this is as routine as it gets.

I suppose a relative lack of communication is better than going round and round with them until they lay it down. I’m sure the morning after you’ll be back for more anyway.

Good to avoid booze with antibiotics, or the next thing you know you’ll have a slip of the lip and tell the world you think you’re tough, which would be a little too much. Just listen to your body talk, don’t let go, and avoid any alcohol-fueled lost weekend. In your situation that’s as good as it gets.
Really appreciated the thought that went into this, Way Cool Jer.

Yeah you're probably right. I still get anxious about being misdiagnosed by doctors.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Seems to be going well on antibiotics so far.

So I'm sitting with my family for Easter and they were talking about Zombie Jesus Day and all that, and that prompted me to explain the whole point of the crucifixion and resurrection narrative and what the idea of redemption is, and they genuinely didn't know, which astonished me.
Yes, by a certain stretch of interpretation I studied Catholic Theology, but I thought it's general knowledge if you grow up in a western country that you know what the basic message of Christianity is.

It's been a while since I'm trying to find the best Cloud Storage Service. I was in need for 2T of space.
I was recommended pCloud but then read some bad reviews on privacy concerns.

After some research I purchased 2T from Sync.com a great zero knowledge provider and I kept with it for 3 years. However Sync.com's interface is not perfect and most importantly there's no selective sync. At work we use OneDrive and I was impressed by its features. The bad thing here is that they offer only 1 T of storage.

Long story shorter, I ended up having 2T of Dropbox, MEGA, and the 365 MS subscription all together with my Sync.com account. I cancelled all but OnceDrive and tried to purchase an extra 1 T from Microsoft.

What happened is no way. My credit cards were not compatible with the shops I wanted to buy from. I never understood why I cannot purchase something from the Store of an X country with a credit card if Z. I had many calls with them, no solution and worse they promised to call me back but they didn't.

Finally I found iDrive which is more of a Back Up solution. But hey, that's what I basically needed. Price is ~70$ /year for 5 T of storage. The interface is ugly but the App does the trick. So I am keeping 365 MS for now for its Apps & OneDrive and iDrive for back up solution. That is 350$ saved.

The extra 1 T from MS would be ~60$ if I remember correctly so isn't much of a difference really.

I am surprised indeed. I thought practically everyone my generation and older from a traditionally Christian country knew this. Maybe it was pushed on them as kids and they started blanking it?
